Thank you, friends! With a quick update

Just a quick one before I go and sort the house, which is in a right state at the moment!

I want to thank every one of you for all the fun, banter, support, advice and everything else (it's all good ) that you have contributed to my planning for this trip.

I will probably pop on here a couple of times if possible before we go to the hotel tomorrow. I am taking my mobile broadband dongle so as long as I can get a signal there, I will be on tomorrow night to let you all know how the surprise was taken. DD was begging to go to Argos this weekend. I also overheard her asking my dad if they could go for a 'hike' on Sunday if the weather is nice. Well the weather is going to be great ..... I doubt she has swimming on her mind though, hee hee!

Now you all have to think happy thoughts that I am able to get online and update you all tomorrow. I feel like you guys are all part of it - it would be plain rude not to let you all in on the info!

Morning! Finally - I am officially bouncing! It is so hard to believe the time has finally come. Please, next trip I book, remind me not to do it so far out! Going to work this morning and leaving at noon. Then it's quick packing, getting the rest of the house in order and off to the airport hotel. Ooooh, I am so happy. I was feeling a bit annoyed about the fact that I wasn't getting that excited feeling by yesterday, but it's here now!

OMG, can't believe your hol is finally about to begin. I truly, truly hope it is all you have wished for, and all your tremendous hard work pays off.
You an Tove are so lucky to have each other. It will be fab for you to spend 2 weeks just the 2 of you with no-one, no work or no school to interfere with it.

It's official. I am bouncing off the walls! Rather inconvenient to have to sit at work and look and sound (and behave ) professionally, but I leave in an hour and a half so wooooohoooo

I see that they have changed our seats on the outbound flight but they actually gave us even better ones so i don't mind. I noticed that they also switched to have me next to the window on both flights. I always give DD the window seat as she likes to sit there. Do you think it would be a problem if we just switch places when we sit down or do they not like you to do that?
