I wanted to thank everyone who gave me advice with my 6 yr old recovering from mono. She had been diagnosed with it 3 weeks prior to our trip. Without the advice I was given here I would have been lost with a tired and miserable 6 yr old. Instead I had a stroller with a GAC for my tired and miserable 6 yr old. She was cleared to go by her dr and had been back to school for a week prior to the trip but I was confused as what to do to make her comfortable and give her rest. I did the stroller = wheelchair thing and it helped quite a bit. There were some occasions I just kept the card in my pocket when she was feeling well and full of energy- I felt like I would be abusing it otherwise. Most people were ok with us getting chaperoned to the front, but some also looked at me like I was taking advantage with such a healthy looking child. :rolleyes1

glad to hear your trip went well.
At least if you have to be tired and miserable anyway from mono, WDW is a more fun place to do it than home.;)
