I just wanted to say, "Thank you!" to the many, many DVCers who answered my recent questions about becoming a DVC owner. Since no one from Disney has called me yet, you folks kept me from tearing my hair out over the New Year holiday!

After looking into it fully, DW and I decided that it's just not right for us. Realistically, we'd never be able to get the money out of it that we would be putting in. If we'd known about this ten years ago, it would have been perfect. At this point, though, it just doesn't make sense for us - as much as we'd love to own a piece of Disney World!

I agree with HBC. The good thing is that you took the time to find out if DVC was a good fit for you. It clearly isn't something that works for everyone.
