I just had to share this little story with everyone.
When I get ready to mail out the postcard requests that I reply to, I send them in a envelope to our fellow DIS'er moinab(Maureen), in Florida. Once she receives them, she mails them back out so that the postcards have a Florida postmark. Maureen shared a story with me a liitle while ago about her son Christian. When an envelope arrives at their house with the postcards, Christian now has to be the one to carry the postcards to the mailbox, he has taken on this job of helping to spread the MAGIC. A few weeks ago, I sent Christian a St. Patty's Day postcard, thanking him for helping with this task. Maureen wrote back and told me that she had a very hard time trying to convinve Christian the postcard was for him. Christian kept telling his mom, that he needed to take his postcard to the mailbox, so that the child is was suppose to go to, would receive it.
So when your children receive their postcards, think of the little boy in Florida who wanted to make sure the postcards got to their final destination.
I shared this story with Shirley this morning, and Shirley said I should share this with all of you. So I would like to publicly thank you Christian, for your WONDERful help, in spreading the MAGIC!!!
I would also like to thank my fellow DIS'ers who have been sending in postcard postage stamps to help keep this project moving forward!!!
