Thank you cards - Confession

I wonder if anyone on the Dis will ever speak to me again

Confession: The only time EVER I have sent out thank you cards was after our wedding! But only because we got married in January and I felt it would be too late to say "thanks" in the christmas cards 11 months later.

I can say to my benefit that thank you cards are not customary in Iceland and I don´t think I have ever recieved one myself.

I'll confess, I sent out about 80% of my thank yous from my wedding, and that was it. 19 years later I still feel guilty.

I once read that Martha Stewart said you should only send thank you cards for religious occassions- weddings/baptisms/bah/bat mitzvahs etc. I don't send thank you cards for birthdays ets. I do have the children call to thank someone who was not at a party but sent a gift.

I don't do thank you cards. I never have. However, I do tell the person personally thank you for anything I may receive. So there is nothing to forgive. Unless of course we both will be shamed into no longer posting.
