Thank Goodness We Changed Our Dates!

We originally planned to go to WDW Oct 28th-Nov 6th. TL is one of the highlights of this trip and was scheduled to be closed for rehab Oct 29, so we would have to race from the airport to TL in order for the kids to be able to go. We thought that was too stressful, and if there was bad weather that day, we might miss out on it altogether, so we changed our dates by a week, and now are going Oct 21-Oct 29th. Now I check the Oct hours, and TL is closing a week earlier than originally shown on the Park Hours site. It will be closed from Oct 23 on. If we hadn't changed the dates we would have missed it, but now we may have to go directly from the airport anyway, which is what we wanted to avoid! Oh well, if the weather is crappy, we will at least have the option of going the next day ( which I had planned for MK cause it is open 'til 9:00 that night).

I'm thinking that the day we arrive we should go to MGM ( we arrive at 10:15 a.m, should be able to get to the park by 11:30-12:00). We would do the FDP. Next day go to TL for the morning/afternoon, get some groceries, check in to BSC and head to MK for about 3-4. What do you think?

Where did you get this info? According to the disneyworld-dot-com website, Blizzard Beach is closing on the 23rd, but TL is shown as being open through the end of October.

We are arriving on the night of the 28th, so I would be very interested if you got this info from another source. I would prefer to go to BB, since my kids are young, but am planning on TL right now.

I was wondering the same thing. As all the information I have seen says its Blizzard Beach that is closing for rehab. during that time period. This was disappointing to us because we enjoy BB so much.

The October calender on the Disney website shows BB closed as of the 23rd.

All I find is BB closed then and TL open.

I got the hours for TL from this board! I clicked on the "park hours" tab in the task bar above, and it shows TL closed Oct 23 and on, and BB open 10-5! I will be delighted if this is an error! I'll go check the disney site now!

This board has a typo right?? Because WDW has BB as a rehab
