It was pretty crowded the last couple of days and very crowded today. The line for Gringotts was 60 minutes at 8:15 am yesterday. In the future we will do the Harry Potter areas the last couple of hours of the day instead of the first couple of hours. We really enjoyed Diagon Alley at night.

The express pass was awesome. I can't imaging waiting 75 minutes for Rocket or Minions.

Glad to hear the EP is working its magic for you.........we just wouldn't stand in queues that long!

DA is beautiful at night.......

Enjoy the rest of your trip......

to wait for one hour starting at 8:15 in the morning for a ride, must mean the park was super crowded. o_O

i love the expass system more than i love Mr Mac and kids.
ep is the only way for me to do the parks.

Now THAT is saying something!

We leave on Monday for US. We'll have EP Tuesday and Wednesday, but not Thursday. I'm scared, LOL! We don't have park hoppers so we'll try to do as much as we can in each park those 2 days with EP.

That would be the day for shows and shopping.

I wasn't sure if we really needed the EP's when we went in January, but it was SO NICE even when lines weren't super long. I'd never go without them now, even at slow times.

Love, love, love express pass - it's the only way to go if you can!

what were some of your waits with the EP like? I was reading somewhere that EP waits can be 20-30 minutes.

Longest EP pass queue we have ever been in was between 10 and 15 minutes on Despicable Me when the regular queue was over 100 minutes.

That was a Saturday in September.

That type of wait is not the norm. With exceptions of course I imagine, including Christmas/NY and Easter.

The only times I ever waited 20mins with express was for Despicable me and this was when the standby lines were 120mins

early last october there was a section at DE that was taken out of service and this made line waits long.
i had the ep but my wait one late afternoon was 40 minutes.

now that is a rarity to have a lengthy wait but with a section of rows roped off, it did happen
ep line was a blessing compared to the over 70 minute wait with stand by.

Mostly between 5 and 10 minutes. There was one longer wait for the Rip Ride Rocket but not too bad.

For some of the "less popular" rides (Hippogriff, Woody Woodpecker, etc), the only "wait" we had with Express Passes was how long it took us to walk around to the ride again.

I've been there on some Saturdays where the express line for RRR was almost an hour. I couldn't imagine waiting in the regular line when I have to wait an hour in express.

That's our normal experience of EP........walk round and straight on again, but I include rides like Hulk, Dr Doom, Dragon Challenge, RRR, Mummy and JP. The regular queue for Hulk once was 90 minutes, we went on 3 times in less than 15 minutes.........not bad!

As I said longest we have ever waited was 10-15 minutes or so on a busy weekend, never waited longer than that.

I say again and again, wouldn't do the parks even in so called quiet times without EP. Worth it's weight in gold.......
