Sorry I've abandoned my TR the last two weeks. I plan to get well into the cruise portion this weekend. I have been distracted by very exciting planning.

I am going back to Florida in 3 WEEKS!!!! Can you believe it.

My mother (Granita) decided very last minute she'd love to take the girls and I somewhere for Spring Break. She looked into her time share in Mazatlan but flights were $600 pp. (And the girls do not have passports yet.) So, I have been feverishly searching for the best value with warm weather (that is what she is after.) For about the price of flying to Mazatlan we are now flying to Miami and taking a 7 night cruise on Liberty of the Seas. We got an absolutely amazing rate on both the cruise and the flights but it took 2 solid weeks of frustrating work to get the best value. I have never spent that much time watching flights come and go and get more expensive. Somehow we managed non-stop flights in and out of Miami at a cheaper rate than I have ever paid to go to Florida.

We will be going to Labadee, Jamaica, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman Islands! Now, I can also compare RCL to a Disney cruise. I must admit their ports are more exciting. How completely lucky are we? Two amazing West coast trips 3 months apart.

Can't wait to hear your comparison of Royal Caribbean. I've cruised with them and loved it. But from what I can tell, even within the same cruise line, it varies from ship to ship, depending on the cruise director and things.

How AMAZING! I was just in Cozumel in October! If you have enough time, rent a car and drive to the other side of the island. The views and beaches are INCREDIBLE! I can't even describe the beauty!!

I'm working on trying to sneak in an October trip to DLR with my mom and son this October...but it all depends on how much our tax refund is and what days (if any) mom can get off work.

Yep, she's the one I got the travel bug from. She loves to spend time with her granddaughters and I am lucky enough to get to ride along.

I think we're planning a road trip to DLR summer of 2011. Can't wait to see all the new updates to CA. Especially this water show they've been working on for over a year.

It is impressive they can work short hair up like that. They just keep adding get until it forms the way they'd like.

December is great. I think when we do visit again it will be another Christmas time trip.

Tammy, I miss you. You were always a staple of this sight. I understand your need for a break though. After visiting a Disney Park 4 times in 2 1/2 years I really need a break. In fact my mom asked if we should visit Disney for a day in March and I said absolutely not. I still love Disney, just need a break.

Thanks, of course I'd prefer Disney Cruise but I often hear good things about RCL.
