tha restraunt list is wrong

on the disney restraunt list they have rain forest listed as a dining plan rest. i had made reservations there because it was on the list and then i called ms and they said no it is not on the list..dont know who to contact so i just thought i'd put it out here on the dis.

This tripped us up on our last trip. When we called the restaurant to make last minute reservations, they even asked if we were on the dining plan but didn't bother to continue with, "We don't take the dining plan." The whole situation just really rubbed me the wrong way. If they had been up front in the beginning, we probably would have still eaten there. Since they weren't, we enjoyed a nearby counter service for that meal.

This has become a fiasco. DO NOT trust the Disney web site. DO NOT trust CMs at WDW-DINE.

DO TRUST the printed documentation. And, of course, the DIS.

As for RFC, the problem is that restaurants that only take Platinum or Premium plan credits are frequently showing up online as "accepts DDP", which creates confusion.

The problem is that the WDW official website lists restaurants that accept only the premium or platinum package plans (and not the Disney Dining Plans) as "Dining Plan Accepted."

You cannot use the Disney Dining Plan at Fulton's, Rainforest Cafe (either location), Portobello, or Victoria & Albert's.
