Looks like a beautiful weekend in the North east... :cool1: I am having company for dinner tonight, making spag. & mb. yummy! I plan to spend the weekend cleaning and organizing my office. I am sitting here watching the second episode on hoarding with Oprah... OK, scared the hell out me and I am cleaning and getting things organized. I am looking at it as a jump on Fall cleaning and I have my Disney trip just around the corner.

So what are you working on this weekend?

So what are you working on this weekend?

My niece is home from Hong Kong for a couple of weeks so my mother put together a family gathering for Sunday. I look forward to seeing everyone since everyone is grown up and living their lives and I don't get to see my nieces and nephews all that often. A couple of them have small children now so I always look forward to seeing "the babies".

Not so sure about tomorrow. Sounds like it will be nice out. I have outdoor bootcamp at 8 a.m. and who knows from there. You're kind of inspiring me to do something constructive! My DD is headed down to the cape for the day with her BFs family. They stay overnight so we will have to go down late in the day to pick her up and bring her back home. Maybe I can talk my DH into going out to dinner while we are there.

Today I am finishing up my psychology homework since the semester ends on Sunday.

Tomorrow I am going to work out in the yard, mowing and pulling weeds.

Sunday I plan to straighten up around the house because my Grandma, Aunt, Best Friend and her mom are coming over for a Disney Movie night. We are having spaghetti and meatballs and watching Lady and the Tramp.

Today, we are going grocery shopping. We will make homemade pizza and then we will have some rum and cokes while ignoring the movie that we will rent. this is our Friday night ritual. It is how we stay connected. We pop in a movie, make a drink, ignore the movie and chat instead. Good times.
Tomorrow, I want to make pasta and try to dry it in the dehydrator. I also want to attempt to make some homemade tortillas. Maybe some english muffins too. Who knows. I think it will be a cooking day for me.
Sunday, I will ChaCha all day for vacation money. We want to go to Disney for Food and Wine Festival for Boyfriends birthday in October.

My goal this weekend is to stay out of the stores and not spend any money, other than groceries.

Tonight, I'm having dinner and then meeting DBF for ice cream. We're going to clean our apartment tomorrow and then go see The Other Guys. Sunday is always our relaxing day. Can't think of a better weekend :goodvibes

Well - my crew will arrive up here at the lake in an hour or so - and it sounds like the weather will be good for me to be outside (low temps, low humidity, and most importantly, low dew points) - so, I'm hoping to hit a campfire or two and maybe go over to town tomorrow with my DGD to the used book shop..:goodvibes

Wish it could stay this way, but it's looking warm and humid again for next week.. Ugh! :headache:

Sailing with some friends tomorrow if the weather is nice, and that's about it. I do hope to get to sleep in a bit tonight/tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow I am taking my son downtown to do some shopping. He wants a new hat and belt--and could sue them.

If the weather holds we will all take a nice, long bike ride in the afternoon--maybe to the next town over and get an ice cream there before turning back.

The wine supply is getting low so on Sunday we will head out to the vineyard that the German side of the family has patronized for about 50 years and stock up on another 4-5 months worth. That puts us halfway to Mainz so we will drive the rest of the way and visit a museum we have been wanting to get to (the Guttenberg museum).

A's game tonight, with fireworks after.

Tomorrow afternoon, I'm hoping that my sisters will help me go through more of Mom's stuff. She kept every card and letter she ever got! (She only had a room in my house - not a whole house, so we feel lucky in the amount we have to sort through.)

Another A's game on Sunday afternoon.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Tomorrow DH and I attend our first all day childbirth "condensed workshop" - I am excited and expect to come home a little terrified.

Sunday - church , then errands/chores that we usually do on Saturday I suppose....

I planned to grocery shop tonight to free up Sun. after church but it is looking less and less likely as I procrastinate on the dis....:)

Sleeping. I've worked at least 12 hours a day for the past 12 days straight, no day off. All I want to do is sleep.

Nothing too exciting. Tonight we're just relaxing.

Tomorrow morning I am taking DD to get her hair cut and eyebrows waxed since she starts school on Tuesday (8th Grade!). Then she is going shopping with some friends. Afterwards they are coming back here to spend the night. While she's shopping I'll probably do some house cleaning and DH will do yardwork.

No plans for Sunday.

Tonight- work from 11pm-730 am
Tomorrow sleep till about 3, wake up and repeat of tonight
Sunday- repeat saturday
Monday- Repeat Sunday, except I have to be at work at 7pm
Tuesday- work at 7pm
Wednesday- have an inservice at 7 am
Thursday- work 11pm-730 am friday
Friday- Leave for vacation when I get home from work

Oh and during my awake time I have to figure out how to get laundry done, house cleaned and car packed for vacation ( ok its just a long weekend so it wont be too bad I suppose)

Celebrating my 56th birthday and sipping pina colada's:cool1: Susan

Ah, the weekend. It's my last weekend of vacation.

Tonight was dinner at Famous Dave's, yum. Now it is "Mojito Night", although my husband is opting for beer. I am trying to talk him into a bonfire. So far I am unsuccessful.

Tomorrow is relax day. My husband works 5-12 at a Jazz Fest. I might tag along, I don't know yet.

Sunday, we may go to the Detroit Zoo or The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village, although I bet $1,000,000 we end up staying home!

Birthday weekend in the city with my 13 year old birthday girl! 2 days of shopping, walking and eating ahead of us!

a touch nervous as I will be taking some new subway lines and I hope we don't get lost.
