Ohio's primary isn't until March 4, so I don't get to vote until then. I'm so into this election, though. Probably because it's the first presidential election I can vote in, plus I'm a poli sci major and I'm in a voting behavior class right now so it's making me pay more attention. I actually watched 4 hours of result coverage last night on ABC and CNN. I'm just glad Barack is still in it!

Tomorrow's Friday, what are everyone's plans this weekend? I'm going to Nashville Friday to hang outside of the Ryman and eat some BBQ.

This weekend = not much fun for me!

On Saturday I have to help out with an event at my school from 2-4:30 and then I babysit. I am so excited to babysit because I haven't seen my babies in what seems like forever!

On Sunday I volunteer and do hearing screenings on infants.. so I have that and then I have to go to the Art Museum for my art class.

Small Rant: So, I'm taking this 1 credit hour art class. We meet once a week for an hour and 20 minutes. Not bad, right? WRONG. We have at least 3 papers due each time we meet. Not 3 bs papers either. 3 papers with research and citations. Is this ridiculous to anyone else or am I being a big baby?

SO happy that tomorrow is Friday, it's been one crazy/hectic week...

Tomorrow night is the school Talent Show, so I'll be there cheering on my friends.
And Saturday night is the annual Snow Ball, so I get to dress up and dance to a live swing band! It's so much fun.

ACk ! I've had such a busy week!
Between working 2 part-time jobs & school! I've only been home to sleep!
But instead of having a night in tonight, I'm going downtown to Toronto with my friend!! No rest for the wicked.

But I've REEALLY got to buckle down on saturday & sunday I've got an essay due for my theatre history class on monday (and i haven't even begun to think about it ) AND a paper for English on Dora by Freud (which I haven't even picked up from the bookstore yet!!!!! )

So saturday & sunday will be no so much fun for me. Have to work both nights too.


On a completely sad and depressing note; I took Valentines Day off work so I could take a mini road trip to visit my BF on his campus--turns out HE HAS A MIDTERM!!!
I shall be having a loonely Valentines day.

I have a crazy busy weekend... I'm in a co-ed honor fraternity and we're hosting our regional convention this weekend. A few people from other chapters are going to be staying in my apartment I think, and we have events tonight, all day tomorrow, and Sunday morning. It should be fun, but tiring!

So Will Ferrell's Funny or Die tour was here the other night... I wasn't gonna go, but there were still some free tickets left and a few of my friends were going, so I went along. Demetri Martin and Nick Swardson were absolutely hilarious! And at one point Will Ferrell came on stage as Ron Burgundy and interviewed our president, who is really cool anyway. It was really funny!

This afternoon I had school for an hour and then I went over to the elementary school I'm doing my observations at to work with my little 1st graders My little cousin goes to the school and it's only 3 blocks from my house so I picked her up and we walked back home. She spent the day here and we watched a whole lot of Hannah Montana, I'll tell ya that

The rest of the weekend's just going to be relaxing and full of work I have a lot of reading to catch up on so I have to do that and then I just want to catch up on some sleep and just take it easy. TGIF!

Disney is opening a new American Idol attraction in late 2008! Guests go through an audition process to be in one of the live shows that day, and the winners of all the shows that day compete in a final competition at the end of the day. The winner of the final gets a pass to a real regional American Idol audition without having to wait in line!

I LOVE American Idol, and while I've never really wanted to go out for the competition, I think it would be really fun to participate in this while at Disney!
