We are going back to our old town to visit friends and do some work on our rental property there (nothing major-just making sure the snow is off the roof, etc.).
DH leaves today for a working weekend in Jacksonville, so it's just me and the boys. We are going to CiCi's tonight, and maybe we will go see a movie tomorrow. I have a lot to do , but will probably slack off. One thing I must do is to make 20 goodie/care packages for senior citizens as my GAD activity. I said I would bring them in on Monday.
Well, we "supposedly" have a snow storm heading our way. I'll believe it when I see it. However, if it does hit, my weekend will be filled with lots of time playing outside with the kiddos (we don't get alot of snow around here). It will also include roasting marshmellows in our fireplace, watching movies and napping. Also, my husband is adamant that we're going to the hockey game tonight - snow or not. We'll see.
I'm going out for dinner and margaritas tonight for my friends birthday.
DF and I were thinking about going to the dollar theater afterwards and seeing "Old Dogs". The rest of the weekend we'll probably just be lazy around the house, do some laundry, and catch up on "Dexter".
cleaning and movie (alone). Read and watch DVDs. That's it for me.
DH is in China, he gets to go sightseeing tomorrow and then flies to a different part of China on Sunday.
We are having dinner with a friend from out of town, then dd and I are going to see Footloose at a dinner theater tomorrow for the matinee. It was her birthday present, we are sooooooooo excited!
Just like TN Hockey Mom, sitting here waiting for the big snow storm! I'll believe it when I see it, mean while just enjoying a quiet day without running around to pick kids up at after school activities.
Going to dinner tonight in acute little "bistro" here in my town and tomorrow going to dinner at a friend's house. Walking both days in the AM with my walking group. Probably some cleaning....
