TFW Meet 2008 The Mission: Wiener Salad & Margaritas - Trip Report Links on Page 1

Thanks Jo, if you know your size in American sizes I could try and find you some.
Awww that's really sweet of you Mo but I'm so particular or should we say fussy :rotfl2: I do love US clothes though as I'm a size 10 there but a 14 here :rotfl2:

Have I just put you all off coming to England? :rotfl: Hey I've just found something to prove I'm English, I'll just have to show you the labels in my clothes ;) :rotfl2:

Granny wearing swimsuiters unite :lmao: (look away V)

:rotfl: Okay, I need to take back my assertion about skirtinis... the strait skirts (like you got Mo) are okay, especially if you have something on top for balance. MY issue is that the onyl skirts I found are flouncy and I have little to nothing on top - not a good combination. :sad2:

BUT... I think I found some winners! Have to go back out today, so I'll report later...

Mo, I love the outfits and your suits! :thumbsup2

I also wear the dreaded MOM suit..... :sad2:
I am going shopping this week for a new one so that I can have two for Disney. I only have one right now. The spare from last year just done gave out. ::yes::

I also got a SUPER cute white gauzy coverup for running between the room and pool. :thumbsup2

Mo: Those outfits are really cute. Your puppy and Murph's are TOO CUTE! I LOVE PUGS. A lady brought one to my garage sale. He was all black and so portly he waddled! :rotfl2:

So, does anyone want to swap my 2 cup coffee maker out after we leave Pop? I have one I was selling at my sale but it didn't go. It brews straight into two travel mugs. (It's a Melitta brand) I am only there from 22-25 and would be happy to send it along to the next person if you want it when we leave that morning....

Let me know. Or you guys can share it and meet in the hall for coffee! :confused3

So after looking at the park hours for my few solo days I see that there some EMH's at AK the 2nd night I'm there...my question is this...WTH is there to do there during EMH's???? I usually avoid the morning extra hours like the plague but the evening ones I may go for...

And Jo are you the keeper of the itinerary now? If you need any help lemme know...maybe we can make one big spreadsheet for all of us to have to print before the trip?! SO we can stalk properly!

UPDATE...

I am pleased to announce Operation Swimsuit 2008 a SUCCESS!!! :cheer2:

After trying Target and coming up empty, I bit the bullet and entered Dillards (akin to Macy's, for those who don't have a Dillards) yesterday. I found not one, but TWO fantastic suits! Did I need two? Not exactly. But I will use two, in addition to the one from last year I still like. Really, we swim most every day during the summer and I hate re-using a still-damp swimsuit. (And nothing air dries in a day in FL in summer. :sad2: ) So here's what I came home with...

This one's by Leilani, a division of the surf-wear company that starts with Quick and ends with Silver (why in tarnation heck would that be an illegal word on the DIS?!), so I'm confident it'll stand up to the punishment of non-stop chlorine and salt water! LOVE the color on me and the pattern helps to mask the lumps. :thumbsup2

Suit #2...

This one's by Gottex, another great swimwear line. I like that this, too, hides a myriad of sins, but it'll also be great for serious swimming of laps. Pool's almost the right temp! :yay:

On a funny note... I use Flickr to host my pics and I put up a lot of serious photography there. I'm a member of some groups, so I frequently have people stopping by to critique my work. I always wonder what they think when I use my Flickr account to dump vacation snapshots or this (swimsuit pics) kind of stuff! :rotfl2:

Very cute V:thumbsup2 I am going to hate you all becasue you are all skinny minnies

I just love the first suit - very classy. I do love Leilan suits, they're expensive, but sooo worth it.

I have an ortho consult this week and just realized, I'm going to have braces for Fockerfest! Ewwwww!!! :scared: I can't possibly eat a meal with you guys - I'll have wiener teeth! Blech!!! :crazy2:

V, love the new suits! :thumbsup2 Any other clothing you want to show us? :lmao:

Mo, those are the cutest clothes you picked out for Kelly! I cant wait to hear about her reaction when she finds out! :goodvibes

Don't worry, I'll be there Janet and I'm a chubby wubby! :lmao:
Listen, I'm up 10ish ppounds form last summer.... 4 of which came directly form F&W Fest weekend! At this rate... nope, don't even want to think about it. :headache:

:thumbsup2 Good to know - I figured the Quick Silver brand was a sure thing, but I'd never heard of Leilani before. I learned years ago that the expense of a good suit is worth it down here; my two longest-lasting suits were a Jantzen and a Body Glove - 4+ years each! :cool1:
