TF Green in RI - how early would you arrive?

We're flying out of TF Green in RI at 6:15am. Typically we get there 2 hours before the flight to be safe but for this early flight we're hoping to get there 1- 11/2 hrs before the flight. Anyone in have experience with this at TF Green?

I think you will be OK with 1 hour or so. I always take early AM flights and you can get through pretty quickly assuming you already have your Boarding Passes. If not, about 90 mins would be fine.

90 minutes is more than enough that time of day. Depending on the day of week it can be hopping that time of day.

I would go with 90 mins as well. I just think that allowing only an hour is a bit risky...but others have no issues with that.

I typically fly out of PVD 8-10 times a year and never arrive more than 75 minutes before my flight. At that hour 60 minutes would be fine. Keep in mind though one of my last trips to the world I was riding POC 2 hours before my flight was to leave MCO so I may not be the best person to ask. I tend to push it a bit more than the average tourist.

Agreed. 90 minutes should be adequate, for that time of day.

I love TF Green airport. Almost every day no matter what time of day, it only takes 15-20 minutes to walk in the front door, check my bags, go through security, and get to the gate.

Back in March, I had a 7:15 flight. Got to pre-flight check to drop off the car around 5:45 and had plenty of time. There was a pretty long line for security (I didn't expect that so early), and we breezed through.

90 minutes is plenty.

Then again, I'm a bit biased. TFG is my home airport (literally 5 minutes from my house!).

Just another local chiming in to agree that 90 minutes should be fine. Even if there's a line to check your luggage it moves pretty quickly and now that they've expanded the number of security positions that line moves along too.

Have a magical trip - I'll wave when I hear your plane take off in the morning.
