Texas to Florida Rest Stops

Against my better judgement.... we are DRIVING to WDW from south Texas. We've done it before.... but bathroom stops were not a problem because we used diapers.

Are all rest stops created equally?

DS8 is physically disabled and uses a wheelchair. Whenever we stop for potty breaks we need to be sure there is wheelchair access.

Any thoughts? I would really appreciate suggestions.

I think they have to have access for those in wheelchairs by Federal Law. I cant vouch for TX, LA, MS, or AL, but I know Florida does.

Hope this helps!

There are regularly-spaced rest areas along I-10 in Florida at:
Alabama State Line (Welcome Station)
Milton
Crestview
Ponce de Leon
Marianna West
Apalacacola River (at time zone line)
Tallahassee West
Monticello
Live Oak West
Lake City West

On I-75 they're at:
High Springs
Gainesville South
Ocala South

Along Florida's Turnpike, Service Plazas including restaurant(s) & fuel:
Okahumpka Service Plaza (just after I-75 junction)
Turkey Lake Service Plaza (just before I-4 junction)

So plenty of places to stop for breaks that are ADA compliant and about 30 minutes apart.

Just curious, are there any websites that can show rest stops along a travel route that runs thruough several states, without having to go to each states DOT site?
