I am surprised to hear all the great comments about the steak. We think the steak is so so. It's the RIBS!!! They are awesome! I love their mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Also love the salad with O&V with egg and the chicken fingers are great!!

We need to take a trip down there.. it's a pretty good distance!

Even though TR is an hour from my house, I hope to have my "last good meal" there this weekend...before going back to WW!

We love Texas Roadhouse.

A funny thing happened the last time we went there. We had friends from out of town who wanted to meet for lunch. We talked about a few different places to go and DH suggested TR. I kind of had a look on my face. See, the couple we were meeting is a very urban black couple and I know she does not like country music, hates it with a passion! I even told her that maybe we should try somewhere else. But they insisted that it would be ok. So we get there, walk in the front door and the first thing we see are 10 waiters, all in cowboy hats, doing a line dance. Well, my female friend takes one look at that and not knowing how loud she was said, "What in the **LL is this"? I think everyone in the restaurant turned to look at us. We laughed so hard. Then she looks at me, puts her had on her hip and does her head bob thing that she does and says, "You didn't tell me that they did THAT here, country music is one thing, line dancing is another!" We had such a good time that afternoon, with good friends and good food. Even if we had to put up with line dancing!

Mom is wanting to take me there to eat as soon as I get the go ahead to be able to go out! I like the Texas Roadhouse! Sometime's we go to just get there chicken wings/ribs in the basket!

Love the Roadhouse! My favorite is the Roadkill, house salad and baked sweet potato. The cinnamon butter and warm hot rolls can't be beat! DH and I had the ribs and didn't care for them at all. The ribs at the Wildhorse in Nashville were sooooooooo much better!

We used to live near a TRH but now that we have moved there isn't one close by...
But, when we do go there, I LOVE LOVE to get hteir mashed potatoes with white gravy! YUMMY!
And, I also love their salads with Ranch Dressing. I am VERY picky about my Ranch and theirs is superb!

See.....now you went and made me hungry!

My parents LOVE Road House. My dad gets some humungous steak, 24 oz. or something like that. I don't think it is even on the menu anymore, but he just asks and they give it to him. My mom is addicted to the rolls they give with the meal. She fills up on them before her steak, it is so disgusting....when I go with them I won't let her have more than 2.

I am not a steak person, but of the steak chains in the area, I like the Road House the best. Much better than Lonestar and Outback.
