Our teachers sent a note that students could engrave them in class.
Otherwise, you could try a place that personalizes items (knives, goblets) for weddings & such.

Right. We have an engraver in our building. If a kid asked, I'd figure out how to get it done for him/her.

Ebay? I'll have to see about engraving DD (she is on her 3rd) hers got stolen last year, as did many other kids. Must be a black market for them...Ebay perhaps?
