Has anyone ate at Texas de Brazil? It looks good but at 38.50 a person I would like some opinions from people who have eaten there.

They are a chain, very very good. Similar to 'Ohanas at Poly, but with more food options (and better). So def better bang for your buck ;)

I've never heard a bad thing about them - YUM =)

We're also researching this option! I thought I'd bump it back up and see if we get any more responses! Thanks!

I have eaten at the Texas de Brazil in Memphis (adjacent to the Peabody Hotel). It was the BEST dining experience I have ever had. I have not been to the one in Orlando, but the one in Memphis was outstanding!

If you are interested, I can write more detail about the restaurant or experience...just ask. Our family is going to WDW in August and we will definitely find the TdB and have at least one meal there!

We had our office luncheon there last Christmas. It was a little cheaper for lunch, but they are normally only open for dinner.

They have a large upscale salad bar with lobster bisque, shrimp... They have a website and it lists what's on the salad bar. The service was excellent and they give you a little marker that you turn on/off when you want additional servings of meats. It is churrascaria (sp) style like Ohana's where they bring around different cuts of brazilian grilled meats.

It was my idea to go there for our holiday party and everyone loved it, but complained about the cost for lunch (about $30 after dessert and tax and tip) but I thought it was worth it for a special event.

Texas de Brazil is wonderful. Great food, great service, fun if you wear loose pants, and quite an experience. Go hungry and do not ignore the Brazilian cheesebreads that are on your table :-).

we're going to try it tomorrow after the fear factor taping at Universal ( bad timing, it's the gross-out segment) they sent me an e-mail coupon for 15% off. that'll buy a couple of :drinking1

I've been to the Orlando and Aruba locations and both are great. It is expensive but worth it. Be sure to go hungry and pace yourself. Don't go if you are in a hurry.
If you register at the Texas de Brazil website they will e-mail you a 15% off coupon that is good for one month.

When we go my kids will be 13,10 and 7. Do you think they'll have fun there? It isn't too stuffy is it? They love steak and chicken so the food shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks
Kimba

I have ressies for this Friday night. Will give a full report when we return. The menu looks fabulous. When I was looking at the website my co-worker took a peek and said this place is wonderful, are you going soon?

We eat at the one here in Memphis about once a month. DH loves the salad bar.

It is a little pricey...lunch is cheaper, but you don't get the full meat selection.

Be prepared to drop over $100 for two (tip included) if you don't drink alcohol..
