Teva Pretty Rugged Sandals on sale!

I've had my Pretty Ruggeds for a couple of years. SO comfortable!

wow! that's a great price ! I have been looking at them on REI.com for a little while and they just dropped the price on those. They were $42.93 I think for a while. I ordered the Terra Fi's and since the price was only $2.00 more (at the time) and they seemed to have a little more padding around the straps. Hopefully they will have the pretty rugged in the store when I go to pick up the Terra Fi's and I can compare. Thanks for the heads up!

And if you go through Ebates to get to REI, you will get a discount on top of that!

I really want a new pair of TEVA's, but I don't NEED them. The ones I have are fine..... still, I'm having a tough time not buying them! ($36 is dinner for me at WDW)

I wish I had some extra money right now - but we just paid our trip off in full :cool1: I wonder if this deal will still be good next Friday!! Thanks for the tip though!

Oooh thanks for the reminder :flower:

I know I have seen a lot about these on the boards. Are they really worth the price, looking at the pictures they look like ones you can get a payless or wallmart for a fraction of the price. I guess its the thrifty in me that has kept me from trying them. Thanks for letting me vent. (I don't know was it even a vent?)

Teva sandals are sturdy, wear well and last. In this case I definitely think you get what you pay for. :)

They are definitely worth the price because you can get 2-3 summers of wear easily out of them before replacing them.

My current pair is FIVE years old and I have no reason to replace them yet- the straps & treads are in great shape. I wear them all the time . I have gone camping & fishing in them, they even have enough heel cushion for me to run in them if I wanted to. They are my everday sandal.

The hurricane style is the low end sandal that has the least amount of cushion- it's also the least expensive most of the time. I am not a fan of it at all, but that's just me and I'm picky about my Teva's. LOL

Tevas are sold at a lot of stores- check out their website to find a local store so you can try them on before buying them.

How does ebates.com work? Is there a code somewhere I should use? I just went there, got to the REI web page, and see no discount anywhere.

I'm confused :confused3 ......

Your ebates account will be credited with the discount. When you have a certain dollar amount they will cut you a check for your credits. I think that they also will cut the check if a certain # of months passes. I have mine set up to go to my paypal account. You can get into many websites this way- I saved $16 on my online holiday shopping last year just by starting at their site!

Same here... I bought my current pair for our September 2001 trip and wear them ALL summer long every summer. They've held up fine, and I wouldn't even need to replace them if, well, lets just say they no longer smell as nice :rotfl2:

Jenny2- you can order a bottle of sandal shampoo from the teva website for $4.95 to get rid of the stink. I just saw it on there yesterday.

I bought my Tevas probably 4 years ago and they're still in great shape. I like the Kinetic ones though. :)
