Anyone had one recently? I got one about 2-3 weeks ago, and I still have a big ball in my arm from it. Is that normal??

TIA

Had one back in 2000 and I don't remember anything like that.. Maybe a little sore, but that's about it.. Probably worth a call to your doctor.. Meanwhile hot packing it might help - DD had to do that once after some sort of shot caused a lump and bruising..
Hope it feels better soon! :goodvibes

It was painfull at first - I would turn over in bed to lay on that side, and OW! Now it doesn't hurt, but that ball is still there. Its gotten a lot smaller, its down to about 1/2 an inch from probably 2 inches.

If it is decreasing in size, you should be fine:thumbsup2!! Not uncommon to get an area that feels like a pea under the skin at the injection site.

Sounds like its going down in size. Probably just swelling due to the shot. Some of my dc get that. That tetnus shot is a bugger. I got one a few years ago and it hurt so much to lay on for a good 3-4 days. Other shots I have had, didn't hurt like that.
