Good day everyone, we have a trip coming up this March and I believe I have everything in place to make sure everything is as smooth as possible. We are coming from the US (fully vaccinated and boosted) so we need a negative test to fly back home.

I just realized though that the testing site (loxamed) in DLP do not test children under 6, and one of my kids is 4 y/o at the time of our trip. Any recommendations on pharmacies near the area we can go to for his testing? I will be bringing approved home test kits, just in case we have trouble getting into one but I just want to have everything in order and plan Bs and Cs in place.

Any recent experience helps, you all are most helpful! Merci!

I would suggest go to the shopping mall Val d'Europe, one or two train stops away from DLP. There is at least one pharmacy in the mall. Other option is the airport.

Thank you! Yes I just checked and there is one pharmacy in the mall and they do testing. I might just need to call them and see if walk ins are ok, or if we need to schedule. Thank you very much for the suggestion!

We were just in Paris and Disneyland for 4 days I carried over a BinexNow test for me and my daughter. Tested the last night of our trip in the hotel room and couldn’t have been easier. The cost is about the same as going to a French pharmacy, but so much less stressful as I didn’t have to locate one that offered rapid testing and there was no language barrier to deal with.

Yes! We are also bringing binaxnow for testing ourselves. How was the wait times to log in? I heard it was well over 90 minutes for each testing. Just wanted to make sure we have a couple of back up plans in case.

I’m glad the home test kit worked out for you, so I’m leaning towards using it first.

I downloaded the app before we left the states and set up an account for me and my kid. It took just a few minutes to get connected and start the test. Longest part was that I was using just my phone and could only do one test at a time. So it took a little over 30 minutes to complete the 2 tests and get documentation.
