Welcome!

My name is Heather and I invite you to tag along for our Disney Vacation!

Its getting to the point that we have stopped counting the times we've been to Disney. We are former DVC members, and have come to visit the "World" every 3 or so years for about 10 days. Last time we went we stayed at Poly...Club Level...in January of 2010 and I forget (LOL) how many days we stayed for, but somewhere between 6 & 8 nights.

My family includes:
DH-aka"Dude"-a data warehouse administrator
DD13-aka "Who"-the drama queen
DD10-aka "Seven"-the dancer
DD6-aka"Boopie"-the clown
and me-the mom

The above are the "Testers" we are staying at YC CL beginning on 8/14 for 2 nights, then we are moving to SSR where we will be joined by MIL, FIL, SIL, BIL, DNi, DNe.

Us "Testers" have had the ability to reserve FP+ for our entire stay and I am told that we will be able to use it for that long as well.

Other details:

• we have 8 day PH "will call" tickets
• NO dining plan (we just don't eat that way!)
• BUT we do have some TS meals planned: Rose & Crown with the whole family to "thank" our ILs for the DVC room, Artist Point for me & DH's "late" anniversary, Ohana for breakkie (the 5 "Testers") and Crystal Palace (Me, DH & Boopie "date").
• Most of our party is doing the Wishes Dessert Party on the 20th (Me & Boopie aren't)
• Us "Testers" are renting a car until the SSR portion of our trip. This will allow me to do a grocery stop the day we check into SSR

We will be touring the parks differently than we have for the past 13 years! This time we will not be bringing a diaper bag or a stroller. We have no plans to do any RDs, but "go with the flow" instead. This means if someone is up early and wants to go to a park for opening the others can meet up later at that park or another park for our FP+ reservations or not...

Bags are packed, I'm ready to go...So...Kiss me & smile for me...tell me that you'll wait for me...hold me in your arms and never let me go...cuz I'm leavin' on a jet plane

Less than 24 hours till take off!!!

Boarding passes-printed!~we are not all not sitting together but ah well, the 6 year old will have parental supervision. We wouldn't do that to our fellow passengers!!!! Also just had the "you will behave as well as you do in school" lecture with her-typical youngest child she is!

Pre-registered for the rental this morning. Did OL check in...not that that mattered.

Taking puppy to my friends tomorrow morning. Basset hound, chickens and garden to be cared for by our neighbors and friends, who came for the key yesterday. (kinda a bummer...LOTS of tomatoes getting ripe!)

Still wondering how late SAB is open...guess we will find out tomorrow!

On ME...had a blip at the rental counter (National) one person working desk kiosks not functional...for out of line for broken kiosk lost spot. Looking at least 40+ minute wait. So on the fly we hop onto ME...used MBs and walked onto ME bus& even better YC 1st stop!!!!

This morning we to

took a stroll to EP

Picked up "double dip FP" for tt then grabbed our Pp + rode "the ball ride" then seas with Nemo then the land ride and imagination ride followed by tt

We hopped to ak and this one lost a tooth while waiting for the bus

Heading to YC now after using our FP + for Kali (I got totally soaked!)...to re-check in & do a bit of SABing

Hoping for NO more problems with room @ YC CL....sigh
