ocm i have only had two drinks in my life. never liked it , prefer coffee or coke.
(soda that is)

i don't dwell on changing my physical appearance, i could never afford it.
i have never been a vain person. i like to look nice but haven't thought of changing much about me except my hair color, which i have. of course, there are always the few pounds i could get rid of. ya, i know, if i would exercise i could benefit greatly from that.

i had new scalp replacement after my accident which i thought was pretty cool. for thicker hair in parts now. ............but still have to color it........only hightlight the hair...........too lazy to go totally blonde...

mucho gracious................pain is my enemy. in the hospitol in march then had surgery in april, too much pain, but the painkillers that was put in the iv made me forget all that...................once i could eat, i surely did. i always say the food i don't have to cook it the best i have ever eaten.............many say hospitol food is yucky................i loved it.............didn't have to cook it or clean up any dishes....

almost like being on vacation,huh.

mizlurksalot, just didn;t like the taste of liquor..............but my brother makes up for it....................i drink coffee in the morning, he drinks gin...........

my hubby drinks and it doesn't bother me. when we go out, i always drive so he can drink, he is glad i don't drink, that way he can..........lol
i don't keep any booze in the house though because having the kids, don't want them to get the message all people drink........never have had it in my house. dont misunderstand me, i don't have any problem with people drinking, i would never push my ways on others...............except to lower the seat or face death.

LOL! You guys are funny. It was a decision I made at 5 years old. I guess I am just a determind person.

And wow, good for you macraven! I guess I am pretty vain. DH told me that all I need to go on the swan for is the self esteem part..but yeah..I have a list.

And I never cook. Especially when I am pregnant. Its just not going to happen. I just drink shakes and eat bars and yougart and stuff. My kids eat a lot of frozen foods. And DH and the kids go out to eat often..or he grills.

Once I cook, I dont want to eat anyway..so why bother

I don't know about patient food, but if it's anything like outpatient food or visitor food - it's awesome. When my sister was in the hospital after her brain surgery a few years ago, I was there almost every day and I loved the food in the cafeteria I was in an outpatient program a few years back and they sent food over from the hospital across the street ~ that food was great too (2 different hospitals)!

howdy mickey4ever, hey, i goofed up, i told mizlurksalot she didn't have her red soc on the siggie but you are the one with that....sorry, took a pill an hour ago.....





ocm, you made me laugh.............you're clever. you don't cook and look like a model..............wow.......

my dh tells me all the time, don't you want to have your nails done, get some new clothes, etc............i always say no...i have no nails from cleaning this place and wear my usual to clean in........

just have never been vain. i sometimes drive the hubby to the train station for him to go to work in my pj.

hey, its 5:50 in the morning...........to early to doll up you know.
i am the farthest thing from vain....i look like me but would change one thing about me if i could.

Jules - trust me. My cousins who are your age get plastered when they go out. And, even at family parties..I think they must have at least 6 or 7. My brothers can drink 12 before they are even the least bit tipsy. SO, I think you are fine...normal.

Mickey4ever - I am going to eventually do the surgery on things. Dh says he will pay for most (not everything ) that I want to get done. So at least he is supportive.

And - the nicest compliment I have ever gotten is from DH. He says it all the time. He tells me that if I ever really realized how pretty I was..I would leave him.

While that is completely not true and he is pretty handsome...it is a nice compliment.

don't think nothing about that...........lol, the one reason i was popular in school was i was ALWAYS the designated driver. they all knoew i didn't drink and they did.

lots of my friends were lushes..............and i loved them to pieces.........they were great pals...
