My last minute work is often better than work I do straight after getting it. I'm more motivated to finish it I guess and I don't really like handing stuff of a sloppy standard in.

I've never seen it, people say it's really good.
And then later Test The Nation is on. It's like a trivia show to see how well you know Canada :

Most of my classes right now are slack classes. My math teacher like refuses to give us actual homework, my french class is kind of like an extra do random stuff so we're talking french to get practice and art, well you don't get homework in that.
We haven't done anything in English yet, and science is my only class that has work currently.

Honestly all teachers are doubling the work rates, standards and the pressure. My gawd it's as if they're playing games with us. You'd think they were trying to get us to have nervous and emotional meltdowns.

My schedule is..

Advanced English.
Comprehensive Math (A).
FI Science 10.
Advanced French.
Visual Arts 100.
Directed Learning (study hall).

After Science I have lunch.
Next semester it's:

French Immersion Language Arts 10 (just regular, the advanced french was a specialty that I chose).
Advanced English.
FI Social Studies 10.
FI Modern History.
Comprehensive Math (B).
Directed learning.

I'll have a lot of work next semester when I ahve more working classes.
But because I have two specialties in one semester it's like only 3 classes where there SHOULD be work.

I do not get your schooling system
I have the same everything throughout the year and all classes are work work work (bar PE, RE and Lifeksills which are fun)

We have two semesters.
In grade 9&10, math and English are full year courses so we have our midterm for those when we're having finals for our semester courses.

Specialties are like gym, music, etc. In grade 9, you have no choice for specialty and have to take gym, tech, art and music. One for each term. (four terms in a year)

Things that are only a semester long, we have midterm in November (or April-ish if it's second semester) and finals are in January and June for the other semester.

With math this year, one teacher teaches half the course, and then second semester another teaches the rest.

Modern History is a grade 11 course, you're allowed one in grade 10.
