I hope we don't have a long geometry unit in math.
As I've previously mentioned I have no plans to take geometry over the other kind of math once I get in junior year.

Some people do, but in my school it is Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, then Pre Calculus

Your way of learning maths confuses me.

We don't split the learning of maths into 1 section a semester/year/whatever. Ours is just Maths, and we split it into subgroups, which we learn for a a month or 2, before going onto another one.

We just have general math up till grade 10. It's just different types of math, a unit for each week.
Sometimes a unit takes more. Math is a yearlong course, midterms are during semester one finals.

In grade 11 and 12 (one of those years) you either take Geometry and Applications or Applications in Math. Applications in math is like linear algebra I think.

We got math for grade 9, 10, and 11. You pick the class if your smart or if your ...not smart.

Then grade 12 you can do calculus with this extra class or you can pick the like.. mortgage/interest/data class.

In grade 10 you either take 'I don't want any chance in hell of going to university or college' math class (or english), 'Regular' math/english class, or Pre-AP.

Calculus is a grade 12 class here I think... bleh. My mother wants me to take AP Calculus.

I don't really pay attention to the requirements after grade 10, I'll worry about that in April.

In grade 11 here you either take an Arts course or a Life Development course...
The Life Development courses are bird courses becuase they're like Child Studies, but I'd rather take an arts course.

i got alg. 1 done in 8th grade, and i did alg. 2 last year(9th grade)...
now i'm taking geometry this year...
