We usually go at the end of April and the beginning of May.
It's not too hot, it's not too busy and the Internation Flower & Garden Festival is going on =)
Although it does suck because the Grad Nites close MK down some nights.

It's also the easiest time to get vacation for my mother. She can't get vacation in the summer (not good times anyways, she's low on the totem pole) and can't go at all in February (I believe that's RRSP season) and March break is also hard to get off.
Plus it doesn't jive with my brothers spring break.

Yeah the Flower Festival was going on when we were there. Main issue was the super-extended Pirate and Princess party dates so MK closed early on half of the days.

<-bored so i'm lurking on the restaurants board

I hate POTC, so I kind of have a grudge against PPP and would never go to it.
So I'd be angry that they were closing the park early for that.

I like looking at the cake threads on the restaurants board. It makes me hungry xD

TPAS is interesting to read.

Why do you hate POTC? :(

I read the normal restaurants board and post there and lurk the reviews board from time to time. I used to mainly go on TPAS/Resorts but a lot of the threads got repetitive so I don't go on them as much now.

I mostly hate the fangirls.
I dislike fangirls of any kind, but those ones, ruined it for me. I got sick of seeing and hearing about it, and then the movies were less great to me.
And Orlando Bloom looks like a dog that's been kicked to many times =/
Twilight fangirls (like the super bad ones) annoy me. So badly.

I like to read the food reports, I like to see the pictures and drool over how yummy they look =)
TPAS does get repetitive.. I only read threads that are more vague.
I don't bother reading the ones about new rides or whatever, because at this moment I'm not going back, and I dunno...

Yeah I can't stand overobsessive fans of any kind...especcially Jonas Brothers fans but look where I am >_> The worst are Apple fanboys but that's a personal issue :)

Yeah, comes from me watching Food Network I guess. I tell myself "I need to try this" yet I never end up trying anything.
Why aren't you going back? Or do you mean not until next year?

God. JB fans annoy me too.
They had this Live @ Much thing at Much Music (Kind of like MTV, but this station actually plays music sometimes) and these girls I sort of know (I've never spoken to them, they were on my volleyball team two years ago) forced their parents to take them to Toronto to see them, and are trying to get tickets for Montreal.
Like, come on. And they bought pants with their favorite JB's name on their butt, you don't know what color their walls are because they're covered in those boys and they have a picture on their pillow to kiss goodnight.
And if you're wondering how I know this, I'm a facebook creeper xD

I'm not going anytime for several reasons. My parents were just there, so they just spent a buttload of money on that.

My parents want to go as a family, but my brother goes to university in Ottawa, and we can't match his spring break because it's during RRSP season. We'd like to go when his school ends, but that's hard to plan a vacation around that because his exam schedule isn't posted far enough in advance.

Airline tickets are just going up and up.

We tend to usually go on a cruise after we do Disney, fuel surcharge is ridiculous.

Most of it is the family thing. My mother said a while back that we probably won't get to go again as an entire family, but I don't know if that means we'd go without him, or we're not going again.

That's...quite disturbing. I think someone posted a picture of their walls in the face thread and it was just pictures of them. I don't get how you can like them that much.

That sucks :/ Can't say I know exactly what RRSP is. We normally fly Southwest but i'm not sure if they have any flights up in Canada or not. Its only a 2 hour flight from Norfolk Airport to Orlando so its pretty cheap for us to fly although we drove last time (my dad had to take something to one of our relatives, it was big).

I've never been on a cruise although I want to. Not too sure if i'd want to go on a Disney cruise or not, its hard to really know what there is for teens since all the Travel Channel specials don't go very in depth with it. They tell you everything for kids and adults but we're left out ;__; We have an Interval Timeshare so we can stay at the Disney villas; its a bit more difficult to set up but it works. Not sure how it would work if we wanted to do a Disney Land and Sea package though. We know a lot of people down in that area (we lived 15 minutes from the Cruise terminals for 12+ years) so transportation wouldn't be an issue even if we did a Royal Caribbean cruise so yeah.

It can be a very hard decision :/ I'm an only child so I can't say that I can really relate at all.

The only close obsession I had like that was with Simple Plan... when I was 12. And I gave up that up, I mean that was just lame. And it's not nearly as close as the JB obsession people have.

RRSP is a registered retirement savings plan.

Southwest doesn't fly out of my airport. We only have 3 airlines, Westjet, Air Canada and Continental (which only goes to Newark).
We could fly out of Bangor or Portland real cheap, but the price for parking our car would make up for the money we save. Generally when we fly outta here, we get relatives to bring the car back home.

I've been on the Wonder twice. Once when I was 12 (I hated it then, I mean I was still in the pre-teen area but I felt like I wasn't that immature to be hanging out with 8 year olds. When I say I hated it, I hated the kids activities). When I was 13 I loved it, the teen stuff is great, it's not really Disney oriented, the counsellors tend to forget to do the Disney stuff. The counsellors are rather amusing, and if you're bored they'll keep you entertained.
The theater shows are amazing too. I'd go back on one in a heartbeat.

Yeah, if we cruise again it'll probably be on RCCL. It's cheaper for us. My parents just went on the Mariner of the Seas and liked it quite a bit. I don't know if I'd like it as much though...

People think i'm obsessed with The Bronx since but i'm far from it ;__;

There's a smaller airport about 5-10 miles away we normally don't fly out of since there's no Southwest and its generally more expensive. We fly out of Norfolk (20 miles or so away) and save a lot of money by flying with Southwest. Plus Southwest caters well to my (severe) nut allergies so its all good. They serve little airplane shaped crackers instead, they're suprisingly tasty.

I'd have hated being stuck with all younger kids, don't know how I would survive. I wouldn't expect it to be very Disney-oriented with the teens but I just wasn't sure because Disney seems to be the weakest in that category when it comes to some things.

I've just heard more about Royal Caribbean's teen stuff plus it'd probably be cheaper like you said.

The closest airport is just outside the city for me. There's more options at the Halifax airport, but it's a three hour drive. There's a few other airports, with less options that are hours away.
We don't get a lot of direct flights. The only ones that go to Florida are ones for Ft. Lauderdale.

I've never paid attention to airplane food really before. I know once I asked for a Caramilk bar and got a box of Lindor chocolates instead =)
But I suppose with a severe nut allergy you've constantly got to keep an eye on those things.

I didn't spend anytime in the preteen club. I refused to. They were so immature, it was awful. I once went to one of their trivia things, and one of the counsellors tried to hang out with me because I was hanging out in the corner alone... I didn't really like that.

They do lack a little in the Teen area. I did most of the trivia stuff, I liked it and I was good at it. People wanted the Canadians on their team (my brother and me) because we were constantly getting questions right.
And I did a video scavenger hunt once, that was fun.
They do dances and pool parties and stuff, but I wasn't into that.. I'm not really into actually hanging out with people I've known for like 3 days and will probably never see again.

Nut allergies are a pain, srsly. Have to always ask what kind of oil they use at restaurants i've never been to (aside from Disney restaurants, they all use Canola) and half the time not have a dessert. Boma was upsetting because the chef told me the chocolate they use has some type of hazelnut in it so I couldn't eat anything with chocolate. I mainly stuck to fruit tarts and the pineapple cheesecake (I couldn't eat the base which was chocolate). I was really looking foward to Zebra domes but oh well...
I guess it could be worse, being allergic to wheat or eggs would be really suck.

:scared1:

Yeah i'm not too much into dancing at all, swimming is fine but like you i'm not too big on hanging out with people i'll only know for 3 days. Just kind of odd to be somewhat pushed into meeting people like that :/

Aw, that sucks. I would be sad if I couldn't eat dessert in Disney.
I'm not allergic to anything really.. a little bit to dairy product, but I need to have a lot of it for it to do anything, and it's just a stomach ache really...
My mother is allergic to MSG and sometimes it's hard to go out and eat because of it. Especially Chinese places. We can't just go to a Chinese place and eat, we have to ask what has msg and what doesn't.
It's not severe, but it gives her a monster migraine and she's usually sick.

I have a friend, I think possibly someone in her family has siliacs, so they don't eat gluten. She is not allowed, so she's always eating strange things at lunch while I'm munching on my lunch full of gluten.

Yeah, it's kind of annoying to meet people like that because sometimes you forget who you meet, so it's always 'Hey, I'm __, I'm from _____, where are you from?'
Over and over and over.
I one time decided to try my city first, nobody knew where that was. Then I tried my province, still no one knew where that was.
I was surprised when they knew where Canada was

It isn't so much of an issue at Disney, they cater so well at TS restaurants. If you want something they'll make it for you but I was fine with the fruit tarts and cheesecake. My favorite thing at Boma was one of the chefs tossing bananas at people going past the fruit area popcorn::. Some people didn't seem like they were going to eat the banana but it was funny to watch. I have athsma so i'm supposed to stay away from MSG (I think). Last time I had something with it I got a bit of a headache and had some breathing issues so yeah.

I highly doubt anyone would know where the heck I live even though its a significant place ;_; No one pays attention in US history.

Ahaha, well, I wouldn't expect anyone to pay attention in that class.
I find US history overly confusing.
Canadian history is pretty simple, but soo boring.
I don't really care about fur traders...

I have Modern History next year (well I should) and we're going back pretty much tot he time of the cavemen.
How exciting.

Yeah the US had too many issues, just a lot of stuff to think about sometimes. I've never really learned too much about Canada now that I think about it. I know a lot of people that live over in Saskatchewan though.

I've never been to Canada but my parents want to go back to Niagra Falls sometime, they went for their honeymoon. There's a ton of other places I rather go tbh but its not really my choice.

I know some people in Saskatchewan too. We were supposed to go to Disney with them next year, but their son has a hockey camp the time we want to go, and the time they want to go, my brother is still in school.

I've never been to Niagara Falls, but it's supposed to be really neat there. I'm kind of poorly travelled in Canada. I've been through most of New Brunswick due to my relatives living all over the place, PEI and I've been to Ottawa. I went to Ottawa last summer when my brother moved for school.

I'm eating popcorn now.
People have been using that popcorn smiley frequently since Billy came back, and I keep on seeing it and thinking about popcorn.

Yeah my parents claim its really cool but i'm more of a theme park/water park person, not as much a sights person (although Rock City in Tennessee was awesome). My mom's friend and her family are moving up to Wisconsin so maybe next year we'll go to Wisconsin Dells during the summer, its the water park capital of the world. They have a ton of water parks there, I think 2 are even indoor (and big).

I ate a breakfast sandwich earlier and now i'm hungry again. I'm tempted to make popcorn but I think we just have kettle corn (meh).
Yeah but Billy just makes posts with popcorn:: or -sips tea- half the time :P

Yeah, I think Niagara Falls is mostly the Maid of the Mist tour and shopping...
Not too exciting. I'd like to see it, but I'd want to go to Toronto and other places to.
I never knew that. Water parks are cool, I've only ever been to like one, that's local and it kind of sucks... but I think that a huge water park would be tons of fun.

I've never had kettle corn. I had some form of No Name mini bag popcorn. It's supposed to be good for you, but I melted a tiny bit of butter and loaded it with salt.
Not healthy anymore.

Lol yeah, that he does. I think maybe like a 1/3 of his posts are from the popcorn smiley, because i think people used to get really annoyed with it.

I find it strange he isn't on today...
Guess he's out having a life.
Something I don't know how to do =/

Typhoon Lagoon > Blizzard Beach for the record.
seriously.

Kettle corn is just the sweet and salty stuff, i'm not too fond of it.

popcorn::

Didn't he say last night that he had to go to some form of doctor today as well? I can't remember :/
