All the radio stations around here are country stations with the exception of about three. I don't mind because I like country. :teeth:

During the day when I watch TV, I'll watch Music Videos, Still Standing, Reba, and occasionally 8 Simple Rules.

We've only got one country station and it covers most of the Maritimes.
There's a classic rock station, which isn't too bad.
There's a mainstream station that annoys me because they play the same songs over and over and they're bad.
And then there's a light rock station, but it's just.... stupid. They're overly happy. It's scary.

I love Reba. I watch that every night during the school year. Not so much in the summer because I forget it's on. But yeah, like one of my favorite sitcoms, ever.

S'okay Zack.

I listen to pretty unknown stuff so its pretty rare that I ever hear any of my favorite bands on the radio. I don't mind some of the more mainstream rock but I prefer my personal music selection :)

Ugh hotmail isn't working.

Radio stations frustrate me because it's always the same music, over and over.
I love Hedley, but the mainstream station plays them at least 5 times a day. It gets old to hear the same songs.

Most of the stuff I listen to has been on the radio at some point, but it's nothing that was ever really well liked enough to keep on being played.
I have a few bands that aren't very well known by people I know, but for the most part, if I mentioned them to someone online, they'd know them.

There are like 5 country stations. I don't like most of them because they talk more than they play music. We have an oldies station, it's not too bad. I like it okay. We have a mainstream station, it bugs me. It plays the same songs over and over. We have a rap station. Hate it. We have a new radio station that plays everything. I mean everything. In one hour I heard Elton John, Phil Collins, Miley Cyrus, Shania Twain, Elvis Presley and George Strait. It's crazy.

Hilary would disagree.

Lol, I don't like pirates...
But, ninja's?
I wouldn't say they're better.
But I think the closest thing to a ninja that I've seen is some random villain on Sailor Moon...
xP
When I was like 5.

That's kind of what the light rock station is like.
I would listen to it if they didn't have such annoying dj's.

Shania Twain annoys the heck outta me.
That Party For Two song shouldn't have been made.
but Elton & Phil & Elvis get thumbs up =)

Sailor Moon? I wasn't allowed to watch it because it was Japanese...:rotfl:

When I was 12 I had the biggest crush on Shania Twain. I used to love Party For Two. :rotfl:

Aahah what?
Your parents don't like Japanese or something?
I loved that show. In kindergarten I pretended that my headband was a tiara and I chucked it at boys I didn't like.
I can still name which ones they were too.

My Gramma grew up during WWII. She said that Japanese TV shows were Satanic. I watched it once and thought that it was really weird.

There's a line in the song about socks that bugs me.
It reminds me of a French book we read in like grade 4 (it was like Babouche Pour Toujours or something) and this kid like saw his mother on the couch with some guy without socks on.
The guy was only talking to her.
And then he started freaking out like 'YOU WERE ON THE COUCH WITHOUT SOCKS ON!!!! OMG THAT'S SO SEXUAL.'

And I'm like...
Shut up you 10 year old kid.

I used to like a few of her songs when I was little, my dad liked her music a lot.
I liked, and still like most of the stuff he listens to.
Shania is the only exception now.

Ah okay.
So you couldn't watch Pokemon either?
Or Digimon?

Pokemon was my life from Kindergarten to the end of grade 3.
I never missed an episode (and if I did, I had a hissy), and I play my gameboy obsessively.

The line is, "You look sexy in your socks." Not that I know that song or anything...

Gramma caved on Pokemon. I watched every episode I could. I still have all the games, up to now. :teeth:

Pokemon is still awesome, don't deny it! :hyper:

The line could also bug me because I imagine that's something a 70 year old woman would say to her husband.
Because I'm sure he looks real sexy.

I dunno.
I used to really like That Don't Impress Me Much, but that song makes me want to cut my ears off now.

I have a few of her CDs. I love the song Up.

Ahahaha. I remember my friend couldn't watch Pokemon because her parents thought it would corrupt her (along the lines of people who don't read Harry Potter because it has magic in it).
I thought they were crazy at the time.
I don't have the games anymore, I sold them, and I regret it.
=(
I had Pokemon Gold & Crystal. I stopped buying them after that because everytime a new game came out, a new console came out, and I couldn't afford to buy them.
My friend has the special edition yellow gameboy with the pokemon in the corner. It's awesome. I'm jealous.

Pokemon is still awesome, don't deny it! :hyper:

It is. Actually like.. I have no idea when, but I went to a friends house and we watched the first two Pokemon movies. The first one makes me cry xD
But Pokemon went downhill after Misty left and that lame May came into the picture.
