LOL well you remember my old welcomimg thread? me and Marla cant seem to post to it to bump it up and neither of us are quite sure why...its not locked or anything

I'm sure that the problem is a result of the current load problems with the boards. I've seen several threads that have this problem and I've not seen any of them that were ever fixed, I'm sorry to say. There may be a way but I've not seen it happen. Others here might know of a way to get them "repaired" so that you can post to them again.

In most cases, new threads have been started with a link to the old thread as reference only with a note not to try to post to the old thread. I don't know if there is anything that a moderator could do. Is it possible to make a copy of the thread? Maybe the copy would work and you could then prune the old thread.

I'm new to these boards. I've been trying to post for three days. I got one to got through. I usually get a timeout error after five minutes. I hope this one gets through.

The board I trying to post on is the illuminations cruise main board and to bump up the April one.

First welcome to the DIS.

There have been some problems lately with the boards. One of these problems is that occasionally a thread will get hung and it seems when that happens, no one can post to that thread although there is nothing apparently wrong with it. It looks like the April Illuminations Cruise thread is one of those threads. I don't know if there is anything that anyone can do to fix these threads when they get this way. I'll mention this to nativetxn so she can check on it.
