Test video for the images being projected on Cinderella Castle. Blech.

I'm with you.. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it.."

Nothing interesting or attractive about it at all..

I think the animation at the beginning looks cool but I really dislike the rest.

I'm disappointed but it will have no affect on my trips!

I hope they only play this a few minutes a night and don't ruin the lovely sight of the castle all night long with this shmutz!

When they announced this I didn't think it would be something I would like, after watching that I was right from the start. This may sound horrible but I have no desire to see other people or even myself for that matter, on the castle! I want the castle to stay the way it is!

Well it would be broke if they do that. Please say it aint sooooooooo? YUCK

I think the quality is amazing, and will open doors for even better firework experiences, or night time stage shows. However the reason for creating it, is well... meh. I think as a person who has stared at that castle many nights on end, it'll make it more interesting to those who still do.
I also wonder if they'll be using photopass pictures throughout the day, and if there will be upload spots. Where you scan your room key and can upload like 2-3 pictures to be used. Of course there has to be a moderation team working all day to make sure the images are appropriate, and selection of which ones will be used.

I think it's lovely and will make a great show each night. It will be shown for a brief period each night, so no worries about the integrity of the castle being compromised.

I like Tink, I like the way they make the castle look animated/ sketched, and I thought the fish were cool. Basically I'd be really interested if it were a new show based on Disney characters.

I hate the pictures of random people on the castle. It's like one of those horrible slideshows you're forced to sit through at obligatory familial events, only even worse because you don't actually know the people.

I have no desire to see the vacation photos of anyone else.

And I can picture it now, the DIS threads about how to get your family on the castle. People will start complaining that their family didn't get up once, but this other family had multiple pictures up.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened the video, but after watching it I have to say I like it. If you don't like it, just look up at the fireworks.

So you have never looked at a trip report here? Have you ever showed your vacation pictures to someone? How do you know they really wanted to see them? I'm not trying to start something, I'm just curious.

The new promotion is lame.

I would rather see one of those families win the night in Cinderella's castle. Those kind of promotions give you hope that maybe...just maybe, you might one day win too. Picture on castle for a split second- not so magical. :sad2:

I normally think that Disney can do no wrong, but it's not the case here. I don't like this at all. Now I do like the "Let the Memories Begin" commercials. The one that I saw was cute, but the pictures on the castle are just lame. IMO

I like the part that makes the castle looked sketched, and I liked the Tink animation. The rest of it, ugh. I think the family photos on the castle is the worst part...it is ugly and it takes away from the castle as a beautiful centerpiece in the park.

Thanks for posting that:thumbsup2 It makes my travel decision for the kids' June break much easier. We have been debating between WDW (spending a lot on airfare to the US) or a Baltic cruise. Needing something to sway us one way or the other we might as well use the castle being tacky as all get out next year as a reason to go with the cruise and save WDW for some other time.
I am truly glad some of you like it and will enjoy it--it is definitely not for me though:eek:
