"Test Tube Aliens"???

Does anyone know about these things? My nephew wants one for his birthday. Are they appropriate for a 7 year old?

I've been all over the net and no one stocks them.

etoys has them in stock. They say they are for ages 7-14. My sons want these so bad. I just haven't been out to get them yet. I think they would be perfect for a 7 year old boy.
