Test Track

Just wanted to get some feedback on TestTrack at Epcot. . . is it really intense? Too much for a 5 year old? I have one who loves fast rides and I think will be okay with it. The other likes "tame" roller coasters but is a little nervous on big rides. Thanks for any thoughts!

If you driven in a convertable you can handle test track.

I think your 5yo will be fine on Test Track. My DD5 (4y4m last Oct) loved it. She was sorta nervous on Space Mtn (yes, she is really tall), but thought TT was great. She also loves Goofy's Barnstormer, if that helps you guage it. She's already told me she mainly wants to do ToT this Oct - we'll see!

Yea, It's like driving in a convertable. The only "scary" parts if you want to call them that, are when you almost hit a big truck, when you loose control of the car and when going towards the crash wall, that opens. There not really scary, but if you have never been on it, its a suprise to you. I think it would be fine for a 5 year old. I love it!

As I tell everyone who asks me out front of Test Track, "If I can do it, anyone can"!

If your youngster enjoys a fast ride, he will enjoy this. He'll want to go on it again.

I would not call Test Track intense. JMO

It is a nice ride, but I would not call it a thrill ride. To me it is just like going very fast in your car with the top down, with a few minor exceptions.

As for your 5 yr old, he will probably be OK. My DS (3.5 at the time) LOVES this ride, that is why we went on it again & again & again!
