"Official" 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We did the Christmas party on the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 26) in 2023. I just purchased our tickets for the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 30), 2025 and the increase in price was $21.30 per ticket. I figure part of that is inflation of prices and part of that is this year's date is closer to Christmas for us....but we're still very excited to go!

And since we purchased discounted Disney gift cards at BJ's Wholesale Club to pay for part of the tickets, we're almost made up the difference in price from 2023 :)
The last party we went to was in 2019. We paid $111 per adult. :(

Trying to decide between 2 party dates during our trip. It's either 1st party of the season (Fri) or the 2nd, (Mon), the day before we fly home. Fri would be over 100 more plus I assume it will be super crowded with vloggers. DH is not thrilled about a late night before departure day, but I think it'll be better to save the $ plus less crowded. Whose side are you on :) Fri or Mon? BTW it'll be our first MVMCP.
To me, it depends on what your plans are for doing things during your trip. if you’re going to get up and rope drop a park on Saturday, then there’s not a big difference between late night party on Friday or Monday. Probably better to be tired from a late night when you can sleep on the plane home (assuming you’re flying) rather than while rope dropping.

I would go earlier in the trip as you don’t need to book LLs and a full MK day would be a better use of LLMP+better availability towards the end of your trip.

We didn’t have much of a choice and were hoping 11/22 or 11/23 would be party nights (checking in 11/21) so that left us with only 2 possible days towards the end of our trip (11/25 or 11/26).

Has anyone ever purchased party tickets with Undercover Tourist? I got my park tickets through there and the discount was worth it. How much is the discount on party tickets? I'm hearing $10, and it that's it, I'll just get them through Disney.
For my week, it was a $10 discount on the 3 available party dates using my DVC discount and it was available 11/18, 11/20, and 11/21

I am soo exicted for the parties! Can't wait to see what if any different characters will be meeting, any different outfits, the food. They haven't even announced everything for MNSSP yet though!

Thinking of maybe having an early dinner at one of the Bay Lake Resorts quick service before 4pm, to not waste any party time and just snack at the party. Any recs?
We have a split stay, 1 night at the Grand and 2 at our home resort CCV. I think we will enjoy the ambiance of the Grand without tickets. Got party tickets for one of our CCV days and I like your idea of an early dinner or "Linner" as I like to call it at Geyser Point. It's a nice boat ride to MK.

The glitch was in the app. If you logged in from the website you could still purchase. I purchased and saw the tickets in the app once around 9 am est but then couldn’t complete my purchase. Extended family had to go though the website as well. We are going 11/26 and I thought it stopped recognizing us as having tickets (temporary moment of panic).

This is disappointing as we use the app for purchasing LLs and it’s going to be a nightmare booking for 7 days if they still have glitches like this.

It seems like Thanksgiving will be more crowded this year.
I booked our LL for our trip next week on the app and didn't have any trouble. I know what you mean about glitching, though!

The last party I attended, it was in 2019. Every cookie tasted the same with the exception of the peppermint cookie. IIRC, they only offered that, snickerdoodle, sugar and chocolate chip, which tasted nothing like chocolate chip.

How were the cookies that were included with the 2024 party ticket?
All of the cookies are completely different than 2019. Disney started using Cheryl's Cookies in 2021. The bypass starter cookie has also been replaced with a commemorative ornament.

I had the same issue, staying the same week. We're actually leaving the 29th but the only date it'd let me book was the 30th so it didn't even fall during our stay dates. I haven't tried again but hopefully they fix the glitch.

Same here. It was the 30th the website would have let me book. I recommend you call because I don't know that the glitch on the site will get fixed. I did refresh a few times to see if it would fix itself before I called.
The same thing happened to me yesterday on the website. However, I just refreshed the screen and then the calendar of party dates showed up. Hope this helps.

I just saw that Space Mountain has a Christmas overlay.

I was aware of Living with the Land, also Tomorrowland Speedway (stinky cars)

Is there anything else?

Ok guys! Any other off-site misfits preparing to buy our Christmas tickets tomorrow?
We are only going to the parties on this trip, so transportation and early purchase window are the only benefits we feel like we're missing. Using points for our room makes it a cheaper holiday treat.

We were heavily considering going this year (probably the December 16th date) but I'm starting to think it doesn't make much sense as we likely won't make it past 10:30pm (at the very latest) with our toddler, who will have just turned 3 by the time of the party so we'd also have to drop that extra $$$ for her ticket (not to mention the fact we'll have to get her normal park tickets or an AP by the time of our trip). We'll be back around the holidays likely on an annual basis though, so this won't be our only chance by any means. Still kind of bummed to come to this realization though, but there's always next year lol. 😌

Does anyone know what time tickets go up for purchase? I’m in mountain and so I wasn’t sure if it was at my 10pm tonight. Thanks!

**6:34am EST - Party tickets available to purchase on the Disney website. **

Logged into the Disney website now and party tickets are not yet available. On phone and website. Refreshing regularly.
