Test Track vs Big Thunder Mountain?

I am a huge chicken and I am able to do Big Thunder. OP, if you can do the other rides you mentioned, you can definetely do Big thunder no problem. Its tons of fun and i can ride it all day!

Isn't Test Track closed for refurbishment until october or so? I hope I'm wrong because I want to ride it in a few weeks.

Hey I'm a Big Chicken and I adore BTM. The only problem is, if you have neck problems, because the ride can be a bit jerky. My husband loves the ride, but he has a bad disk and cannot ride. But try it, you'll like it!!!!!

As PP said, just don't sit in the back your first time through. Start out in the middle and you'll be fine. This was the first roller coaster we took our DDs on and they loved it! If it helps, use our family's ride rule.....squeeze (the handrail) and scream whenever you feel scared. It helps our kids get over their apprehension when going on a ride for the first time, and I recently heard my youngest DD (11) advise her friend to do this at the local amusement park!

Believe me, I'm a huge ride chicken too, and Big Thunder Mountain is one of my favorite rides! Test Track is much faster that BTM, so if you can handle that, you should be fine! A little tip: if you ride in the front the ride for you is slower, if you ride in the back the ride for you is faster (I recommend sitting in the back if you can, because it's the perfect speed there! At least in my opinion... ) It's a can't miss!

Totally agree! we always wait for the back row. I love it when our butts come out of the seat on the little drops. It makes me giggle.
