Test Track Updated- Good, Bad, Ugly?

I loved the original.
I'm not a fan ot the new version.
I more or less go on it now just for the going outside part.
I feel like they could have done so much more with the new version.
There's no storyline and nothing to really look at.

When I ride, I have a habit of providing parts of the old soundtrack.

"Did you remember to turn off those robots?"

"You should be experiencing an increase in lateral forces."

"And that's what we call an evasive maneuver."

Plus, I supply my own German blocks and Belgian blocks.

the ugly for me was last year. I don't know if we just happen to hit bad luck on this ride each day we were there ( at least 4 separate days in one week).

But each time the ride was stopped, one time for 20 minutes while in line, we stayed...the other times for about 10 minutes and 1x we were on the ride 30 minutes!! Thank God we were just after the outside, but inside enough to feel the AC.. the ladies in our car were freaking out as they were cutting it close time wise for an ADR,

Maybe a fluk???


. so my tip and this goes for all rides... especially if parents or kids are separate. plan for ride stops that are longer and you are "stuck"..


the good is that kids, especially boys love designing.. parents just want to move on with it! and my kids love the area after the exit.

Love to get some tips. I seem to be maxed out in the 215-218 range. I think I broke 220 once, and the daily high usually seems to be right around 232.
I'm probably constrained by not wanting to make a car that looks ridiculous!

I'll have to ask her if she will part with her secrets

We prefer the old version. It was a ride that we wanted to ride over and over again. We experienced the new version for the first time last September and after riding once, we didn't feel the need to ride again. It just didn't have the same feel and just getting on the ride, even with a FP+, was such a process. So many different holding areas. Sad.
