Would you let your 10 yr old daughter do single rider at TT? At what point do they spilt them for you? Was thinking maybe this would be easier then getting FP+?

You stay together in the single rider line until you reach the car boarding area. Sometimes single riders end up in the same car just a different row. Have your daughter board first and then wait for you at the unloading area. Shouldn't be a problem unless she gets nervous on rides.

To answer your first question, yes I would allow my 10-year-old to use the Single Rider line as long as she was comfortable doing so. I'm not sure what you mean by "at what point do they split them for you" - do you mean you will both go through the Single Rider line together? If that's what you mean, you'll stay in line together until the ride loading point. Then you will most likely be put into different cars to ride. As long as you don't mind not sitting together on the ride, Single Rider is a good way to cut down the wait if you can't get a FP.

If you are together in the Single Rider line you will most likely get put into the same group of 4 cars that all dispatch together, or you will be one group apart. The loading and unloading of four cars all happens at the same time, so if you are in the same group you will literally get off at the same time, even though the cars will go through the course at a staggered rate. If one of you gets off in the early group, then you can wait where the photos are shown, but you can not wait on the platform (they will ask you to keep moving). You are only separated right at the ride load platform.

We did with my daughter who was 11 at the time. They split you up at boarding.

If it was me I would go into the line first so that I was waiting at the exit for them. Single rider for a 10 year old should be no problem.

My daughter and I took the single rider line last year, when she was 10. We stayed together until boarding, and then she went first. Just make sure you agree on a place to meet after, as she may end up a little ahead of you. The disembarking aisle can be a little hectic, but maybe just past that. I think you end up coming out in a showroom of sorts?

We have been doing single rider at TT, since my kids met the age limit to ride alone. It works great for us. My dd was a little nervous the first time, but she really wanted to ride again. Once it was over, she was totally game to do it every time since then (she is 19 now LOL).

Make a meeting spot anyway. Things happen. Different ride, different system because of the two tracks, but in Anaheim DS ended up ahead of us because DH's car on radiator springs was delayed in going. DH should have been done first but he wasn't.

We started using SR lines the moment we could (7 years old at Disney and it's a height mark at universal) on rides we felt comfy with (thinking through ride stops and if we felt ok about him being evacuated without a parent nearby) and the car based rides are an easy "yes" decision for us.

Absolutely! The minimum age for riding alone is 7. Just be there at the exit. Easy peasy. :)

We did it with our 9-year-old daughter last week. No problem whatsoever. We also did it for EE. Just tell her where to meet you, and to not leave that area under any circumstance. It works especially well if you have two parents riding - have one parent in line first, then your daughter, then the other parent. That way, there will be sure to be a parent around when she both enters and exits.

When we rode, my wife was in the first car, daughter second, and our son and I ended up in the same car.

Our daughter hates TOT, so the two of us rode RnRC single-rider last year, when she was 8, while my wife and son rode TOT. Also not a problem.

Also worth noting is that, while you can't do the full car design stage, if you rode it earlier in the trip with either SB or FP, and didn't use the limited design stations in the single-rider queue, you can still load up your original vehicle before boarding.

I'd like to try this next trip when my dd will be 10. There will be four of us. I've ridden it with my older son single rider many times and half the time ended up in same car.

Has she ever ridden TT before? If not, does she get scared on fast rides? If she has been on TT before or even if she does not, if she does not get scared on fast rides, she will be fine. Thanks to FP+ tiers, my DD started doing single rider on TT at age 8. She has not had any issues with it. You will be in line together until you get up front and they put you in the car slot. Then, she may wind up in a car ahead of you, or a car behind you. Just make sure that she knows that once she gets out of the car, she should go to where the photos are shown from the ride, and if you are not already there, she should stand right there until you get there. (DD also has been doing single rider at RSR at DL/CA too since she was 8, since it is a favorite, and we can get multiple rides on it without FP using the single rider line. It has been fine.).

I did it last year with my 7 years old. We went on together first with FP+, then gave her the option to go single rider or not. She said yes and got a lecture about waiting by the exit and etc. We were lucky for our first time, CM kept us in the same car (1 front and 1 back). She felt more comfortable the next few times when we were in separate cars.

My DW, DS (10) and I did single rider when we were there a couple weeks ago, he was fine.

We have been doing it since my daughter was 8, she's 12 now.
I just go first, that way I'm at the other side waiting when she gets off...

I plan on doing it with my family in August. DD is 9 and I'm sure she will be fine.
