Hey all. So my wife and I have 3 kids. 1 is too small for Test Track. We plan on using Rider Swap for this ride.

If we use Rider Swap, can I go alone in the single rider queue and then my wife takes 2 kids through on the Rider Swap through the FP line after I get out?

I figure that leaves me available to watch the kid too short, all family gets to ride at least once, and total wait time is drastically reduced. Thoughts on this?

If this does/will work, any reason (moral or otherwise) that we shouldn't do this multiple times so both wife and I get to ride with the kids?

Only 2 guests are allowed per Rider Switch pass, so this wouldn't work unless CMs are willing to bend the rules for TT. You could make the argument that since TT is a 3x3 configuration that 3 persons would be a perfectly reasonable way to use the Rider Switch, but I'm not sure if that would work.

You could all just use the Single Rider line, since it moves quickly for TT. Or you can use RS once to ride it together, and then SR for subsequent rides.

I was not able to get a RS Pass for TT via the single rider line in December, I was advised that you can only get the RS Pass via the FP+ or Standby line. I was told by two CM's, one was a lead that the single rider was already a reduced wait without using one of your FP selections. (I was just clarifying btw not arguing as it was the start of a trip with several non rider toddlers and preschoolers in our party.

Of course it doesn't hurt to ask but if you don't have a FP be prepared to use the standby line for the first ride.

Also to clarify the above post - the Rider Swap pass is good for up to three (3) guests so if do get one your wife and kids would be fine to ride with the RS Pass.

Unfortunately that is wrong - I have an unused pass somewhere from December if I can find it I will post a picture. The pass clearly states it is good for up to 3 guests, for that attraction with an expiration date.

Meantime if you just google "pictures of WDW Rider Swap pass" you can find many pictures of the actual swap pass.

I'm sure you are right, experience will always trump what's on the internet.

we only have 2 children (one of which is an infant) but we were able to do exactly this in January. my husband asked for a Rider Swap, rode single rider, then took my son on with the swap pass (I didn't want to ride). the swap pass was good for up to 3 people and expired the end of the month.

That probably won't work because you generally can't get a RS pass using the single rider line. You could get a FP just for you, use the FP to obtain a RS ticket, and then your wife could take the kids through the FP line using the RS ticket. RS tickets are good for up to 3 people.
