I thought it was remaining on the same track with similar experiences but technology was gonna be used to allow more interaction between the ride ad the rider?

Hope this is correct from the above link 'As far as we know the schedule is still April 15 to September 21, 2012.' we arrive 20th Sept - 4th Oct, fingers crossed it opens before we go home.

I read that it was going to be a simulator to go along side the track ride not replacing it with a simulator. I just like to look at the cars in the show room and see what T-Shirts they have in the store.

I am suprised...how are some of you happy about this. The ride is being destroyed. They are turning it into some cruddy sim ride. Ooo...ahhh..that was fun. Let's sit in a box and be shaken up instead of being in a real car on a real track driving really freaking fast. This is going to suck.

That is incorrect. It will still be an actual ride. Not a simulation.

We go home on the 21st sept.... just my luck. Oh well....

Same boat as you , in for a week 9th till 16th

Possibly as it's nearly finished there maybe a soft opening going on when we're there though , fingers and toes crossed
