Us too, DH headed straight there as was looking forward to going on it then was gutted. Like you say, just another reason to return

OH no I did not realise that it was going to be closed for so long. Never mind that will give us something else to look forward to on the next holiday. DH was not a fan of the orginal TT but think he might like this a bit better. He loves the Tron movies.

I think, if I recall correctly, when the first rumours of the refurb came out earlier this year, it was anticipated that it would be closed earlier than this and open by "the fall"

Disney however never confirmed or logged any mention of the closure on their own website so it was thus never really official.

It looks like the ride is getting an extensive and much needed total overhaul so it's not really surprising that it is closed so long. I remember when we were there in 2009 Space Mountain was closed a week into our trip and only opened again about 8 months later!

Very disappointed its closed. It's been our "first ride" since it opened, so it means changing our traditions.
