Can you tell me what is the height restriction for this ride-not to drive but can they be a passenger with my dh? dd4 is not quite 40 inches.

Hi becky23,

I think Test Track may be a little intense for a DD4. Mine is 5 and we didn't take her. While it's a relatively mild ride as far as "thrill rides" go, there are loud noises, sudden stops, and the outside ride may be frightening. I'd see how she does on, say, Splash Mountain before attempting Test Track. Just my $0.02.

Sincerely,

Len

I agree..for some reason I thought it was 40 as well..... when they go out on the outside track, the car moves....I know I scream all the way, but I love it. :)

Also, the height restriction is the same for all riders...There is no "driver" because Disney does that for you. Your daughter, assuming she meets the height requirement and wants to ride will be able to sit in any seat she wants, including the "driver" seat! Hope you enjoy, this is a great ride!

My DS5 rode it back in April and loved it. He said the only part that scared him was the tractor-trailer blowing it's horn.

I can't remember, but DD rode it when she was 3 1/2 and it is one of her favorite rides (next to Tower of Terror and now Space Mountain).

I think it really depends on the child's temperment. Mine loves thrills.

My DD5 loved TT the first time she rode it - last year, when she had just turned 4yo. She also liked SM at that same age. However, she is still quite nervous about all of the 3D shows. I guess each child differs on when they come to enjoy these thrills. (Or never - my DW is still scared of most of the fast rides!)
