Test Track or Soarin' first?

We'll be at Epcot for park opening at the height of summer crowds. We'd like to do Test Track and Soarin' in the morning.

What's a good plan? Should we Fastpass both, and which one first, or Fastpass one and go standby on the other?

Are you staying onsite? If so do EMH and just standby both (Soarin 1st). We did this in June and had Soarin and TT done by the time the park opened.

Send one member of your party hightailing it over to Soarin' to get your FP while everyone else takes their sweet time walking to TT. We were there in August and it was a mob scene over at Soarin'.

If you get there in the early morning (aka opening or close to it), you could pull Fastpasses for Test Track, then walk over and ride Soarin' standby. Then, go do the Living Seas--the new ride and Crush. By the time you are done with that, you'll probably be in your Test Track window, which means you'll be able to pull another fastpass--get one to ride Soarin' a second time.

Reverse if you like TT better than Soarin.

After the park's been open for a few hours, though, this won't work--the fastpass return windows will be too far apart.

An overly complicated apporach that works for some: divide your group in two, half heads to Soarin, the other half to TT--and each group also FP's the ride they go to. Then reconvene at Mission Space and exchange FPs, ride it, then split up again for the first two rides FPs...

Soarin'...hands down. And right before you go in, fast pass it so you can do it again cuz you will absolutely love it.

Soarin' all the way.

Fastpass Test Track.

Meanwhile, go on Mission: Space, if you're into that ride. If not, run back to Soarin'. :teeth:

That's a great idea, I saw a lot of people doing it in the summer. We ran for Soarin while another member of our party who didn't want to ride, ran and got us all fastpasses for Test Track. Worked out well.

If you want a more simple approach and don't want to split up your party or walk too much, just get there early and do Soarin' first.

Soarin, then go straight to TT and MS. FP one and ride the other.

Fastpasses for Soarin' go first thing. Test Track also has the single rider line which can get you through pretty quick.
