Test track for a 4 yr old?

My DD4 went on it in July and absolutely hated it. I'd say it depends on your child. We learned on this trip that our youngest does not like anything fast or bumpy, so depending on your child, it might not be the best ride.

This is a child who also did not like and refused to go again on Soarin' and Goofy's Barnstormer, so she's probably a bit extreme, but I'd just advise you to be aware of the speed you'll find at Test Track. Now my boys both loved it when they went the first time at 4 and 6, so it really varies.

He didn't like barnstormer though, and was iffy on soarin'. But test track was a hit.

My DD (almost 7) absolutely loves TT! She squeals with delight everytime she rides. She rode it as soon as she was tall enough (she's petite) I think she was 5 the first time.

She also loves Big Thunder. Hates Space Mountain (DL version) Riden both ToT and mostly doesn't like them. She also loved Dinosaur (rode in last Sept. age 6) for the first time. I thought she would be scared she said "it was no big deal" Star Tours another favorite.

She's my little thrill seeker. I can't wait til she's tall enough for RnR and Indy (at DL). I think she'll love them too!

My dd is a daredevil and loves anything fast. TT terrified her when she was 3 and a half...she screamed in terror when the truck came. I chalked it up to the ride being too like her daily commute to school.

We just went to Disney World earlier this month and my 3 1/2 year old was finally 40 inches tall. She LOVED Test Track, it is her new favorite ride. She called it "Race Cars". She loved Splash Mountain as well. She also loved Star Tours at MGM. They didn't let her ride Soarin' because she got nervous when they re-measured her for the 3rd time and slouched. She was very excited to get to ride all of the "big kid" rides this trip.

Her other favorites are Dumbo, Snow White, Peter Pan, Philharmagic, etc.

My 4 yr old rode it and was not thrilled. He did not freak out or anything, but said he did not want to ride it again until he was 6. The same age as my older son who did love even at 4.

My son went on test track for the first time when he was just shy of his 4th birthday - loved it!

My youngest DS was 3 1/2 on our last trip and TT is his absolute favorite ride. He also loved Soarin, BTMRR, Splash, and Star Tours.

I say, if he is tall enough and if HE WANTS to give it a try, let him .
