Has anyone taken their child (mine is 4) on Test Track? We are going in October. My husband says that its ok for my son, but I have never been on and am not too sure. Your input should help! Thanks in advance! :confused3

My DD went on it at 4 and loved it! DD #2 would have ridden last trip, but it was in rehab. She will hit it this time -- still 4.

My DS5 went on it and LOVED it. He also loved Tower or Terror so I don't know if that counts.

I have one thrill seeker kid (4) and one big chicken (6). Both LOVE Test Track! My oldest thinks he is so brave for riding it and is so excited that he does a "big kid ride!" He loves it though. It's one that is fine for little ones. Not scary and not really rough or anything.

Actually, we took DS on when he was only 3, and he loved it. As long as they meet the height requirement, I would think most 4 yr olds would like it.

The height requirement is 40"...

Test track is my 3 1/2 year old's FAVORITE ride... we go on it practically every time we go to EPCOT (at least once a month!)

My DD went on this last year and loved it! She was 4 and 1 month, almost 41". I tried to put my arm in front of her on the fast part...she pushed me away. She loved all the rides w/the 40" requirement. I'd say let him go on it.

Our 4 yo DD went on it and loved it!

My DD will be 4 too and I'm really hoping she'll want to go on it. None of your kids were scared at the end?

I hope when we go next year my petite DD will be tall enough to try it! She'll be 4 1/2 but right now at 3 1/2 she's a petite 36" She has 4 inches to grow in 13 months!

If your DS loves roller coasters, then he'll love Test Track. My DS was 4 and went on it five times. He loved it. It's not as scary as it seems.

I haven't been on this ride for YEARS, and I've only been on it once. I'm taking my chicken kids on it next month (6 and 7 1/2 years old). What happens at the end that makes it scary??? I don't really remember anything scary.

When the doors bust open and all of a sudden you're going 60 MPH (hope that didn't spoil the ride for anyone). I know they ride 60 MPH in our own cars but I wondered if it happening so fast and having such bright light all of a sudden would freak them out.

My DD was 4 the first time she rode and she loved it!!!!

She's not one for thrill rides, and if she loved it, any kid should love it ;)

Ours rode it at 3 1/2 and she loved it! Her favorite parts--front seat and no car seat! She talked about the 'no car seat' part all the rest of the day :rotfl:

No, she didn't find the fast part scary. She was a little worried about the heat lamps and the chemical test, though.

Mine were fine. We went for the first time this summer. DD9 decided she'd rather play in Innoventions the next day, so DH and DS5 went alone. I can't ride; it's much too rough for my back to deal with! By far the roughest ride at WDW (that I've tried).
