Test Track at rope drop before 9:45 ADR at Akershus?

I think this is manageable for two adults, but I want to make sure:

The plan is to get to Epcot around 8:45 (9 AM opening) and go to Test Track as soon as we're allowed into the park. After the ride, we'll head back to Akershus for our 9:45 breakfast. From there, we'll standby Maelstrom when it opens at 11 and then have FastPass for Soarin', Mission Space Orange, and one other.

As long as we aren't stuck on Test Track for hours, should we be able to make our ADR without too much of a hustle? I realize Test Track can take awhile with the pre-ride car design stuff. I think Soarin' would take just about as long, though.

Be at Epcot main gate by 8:30 AM.:)

Epcot often opens unadvertised at 8:45 AM.

I think it is doable, but could be real close.:)

You might be right about that, and I'd hate to be rushed. I think I will keep my eyes peeled for a 10:15 reservation to give us a little more cushion.

I would look for a later Akershus reservation just to be safe. In Feb. we did EP on two days - first day we did Soarin at rope drop, second day TT at rope drop. We were out of both around 9:45 am. Keep in mind, we entered from IG, so our walk was a little longer. From the FW entrance, you might have a better shot at getting through the ride a little quicker, however, then you have the jog to Norway. I would try to get a later reservation.

Thank you, Marthasor! I think I will do so to prevent us from running through the park in a struggle to make it there on time.

I agree with above posts. EPCOT can have some long lines by the time the parks opens and then everyone still has to be scanned in to the park so the lines aren't too fast. It is a bit faster in MK because you run your magic band and get to wait inside until the park opens, then you can just go. I think you would be fine with your ADR if you were at the front of the line at rope drop which I would say 8:15, maybe no later than 8:30. We were there in a slow season by 8:30 and were still quite far back in the line. Good luck!

Thanks, FiggieFan! It really helps to hear from those of you who can refer to past experiences.

Do you guys think 10:15 would give me enough time? If it weren't for tiers, this wouldn't be an issue. Sigh.

Yes, I think you will be ok with 10:15 am. You may want to consider the TT single rider line as well if the wait time is shorter.
