when mr mac wakes up, i'll go to a drive thru then.
i keep checking on him and he keeps sleeping.
hope he has a better night tonight.


i'm sleeping with the cats tonight.

david brought his cat to me on thursday. his gf won a trip for 2 to palm springs california for the music festival. he has to rent a car and buy his own food but they'll do burgers for the 4 days.

he gets to see the red hot chili peppars. there are over 50 bands on the venue over the 3 day weekend he can see.

i'm turning green.......

Evening my girlfriends...

KS...the Disney Store I worked in closed up, and the next closest either north or south is 25 + miles away, so it just isn't much of an option for me to shop there anymore. Too far out of the way.......I once inawhile order something online, but don't even do that much anymore. I really have so much Disney stuff, it's not like I'm deprived

I ended up eating a chicken quesadia (spelling not so sure) and I took some Wheatsworth crackers, and melted some cheese on them...that almost seemed like a treat

I am listening to the Sox/Yanks game on the computer...so far so good, but I won't be happy til it's official............

I am running to the soccer game around noon today. Lee's office is moving downtown, so I am going to see if he is working tonight or not. If he is working tonight, I may call a friend and a babysitter and see about going out. We'll see.

mic - i went on a pilgrimage to the Disney Store (close to 60 miles); course i'm used to a long trek to shop; other than the useless mall they put in near me. Nearest grocery store is 15 miles RT.

had my 1st quesadilla @ applebees a few months ago in that special they run -- YUM!

when my kids started school, the principal's name was Mr Fink.

KS, we have a grocery store here, that I use for staples, but we too have to travel at least 15 miles one way for shopping...depending on where I go, it can be up to 20 miles one way..if I had the time, I would drive up to the mall where the Disney store is, but with working, I never seem to have the time...glad you got some deals, don't ya love it?? I LOVE a deal or sale

I called my ds today, and grandson answered..."Hi grandma" then me trying to carry on a conversation with him..."grandma, I'm playing a learning game on the computer, excuse me, can I hang up now" NO time for grandma when learning is involved.......LOL.....

the sun is out where i am.

think it is tanning season for those that worship the sun.

going to have to miss church today for the first time since 1989.
only other times i have missed is when i have had to go out of town or in the hospital.
someone cover for me.

mr mac gettingn worse. he felt a tad better yesterday afternoon and watched some of the draft, his highlight of the year..

i'm just sitting around the living room checking on him and helping him out.
i don't think either one of us slept more than 3 hours last night. but i was too tired to dis during the night.

hope you all get outside, if it is not raining where you are and do a sun dance to keep mr sun happy.

if you don't, he can hide behind a cloud.....
and we don't want that!

I had a productive morning. I got the kids up fed and out to church (all three) we had doughnuts after and then I took them all to Lunch. It was a nice morning.

I was able to sign Nico up for Religious Education and the children's choir for next year. He wasn't thrilled about either, but his soccer teammate is joining up and he and she get along famously. So, now he is exxited about it.

It's so pretty here today. I think I will let them go outside and play after Nico gets his homework done. Then I can get the house cleaned.

I am going to the specialist tomorrow, since the blood came back. Then, my parents are coming tomorrow afternoon. That should be fun.

mic, i'm lazy today. have done nothing but play on the computer. but i am getting tired of it. it is really nice outside.

Mac, it is nice out, a beautiful spring day here too...and I DID SOMETHING...vacummed downstairs and mopped floors and cleaned the downstairs bathroom...YAY me....now I can do nothing and not feel guilty

Hey Ed, I listen to the games on WROL or whatever MLB lets you sign in to, and one of the old announcers is still there, what happened to the other guy? I know one is Joe G or something but the other guys name escapes me. I miss the banter of them together.

i tend to hoard things of great value, still have my green rat fink ring from the bubble gum machine (in an old jewelry box; along with all of families religious medals, girls scout/boy scout badges, etc.) I treasure them, such a sentimental sap.

mic - so cute sounds your grandbaby - they grow up far too fast. Don't forget Sopranos tonight. There a new Simpsons too.

Bought youngest DS a cell phone today; he's the last of his buds to get one - poor baby; imagine that...nearly 14 & no phone . I am the most old-fashioned mom (probably cause i'm older that some of his friends grammas ).
