test Part 9

Morning Everyone,

TVT is going in for surgery today. It seems he has a cyst on his back, although he swears it's not being tested for anything else. Since he didn't tell anyone about the surgery, Im inclined not to believe him about the rest. Good luck Tony!!

Since we are updating everyone, the blood came back about three to 4 days ago. So, I am going back to the Dr on Monday. There isn't much pain at all and all the cultures have come back with nothing wrong, so this is probably a waste of time. But I will go to humor everyone.

Anything good on the weekends for anyone? We have a soccer game Saturday and church on Sunday. My mom comes in Monday (I wish it was before the Dr so I didn't have to take Sam, but that isn't the case) then Julies dance recital is Tuesday night. Which is not the weekend, but I thought it sounded more interesting than cleaning the house all weekend.:rotfl:

Morning everyone!!

good luck to tony today:hug: hope everything goes well.

ocm-- i think it is a good idea for you to go to the doc! there has to be a reason why you are having those problems. With the recital coming i am kinda glad that aubrey didn't go out for dance this year. while it is very fun and cute to watch it is ALOT of work.

mic--our weather is messed up too! yesterday i don't think we saw temps out of the 50's today is going to be the same but then it is suppose to be in the 80's on sunday:sad2: Atleast it will be nice this weekend since we are suppose to be outside all weekend with trent's ball.

mac--are you working again today? what are you teaching?

ks--did your dh ever get his bike home?

bob--if you quit and stay home you will still visit us right?

ed--where are you going to take us today?

gant--whatcha been upto?

My weekend plans: Friday night it is carnival night at Noah's school so we will go and let the kids play games and then I think i am going to go and visit my cousin who is back from Alaska.
Sat. trent plays in a tourney about 1 hr. away from here....i think he plays at 2pm and 8pm:confused3 The town he is playing in is very small and has NOTHING to do.
Sunday it will be back to the tourney as i think he plays at 11am...or that is what i heard.

So it is ball all weekend for us...i hope it goes well because at the last practice it didn't go so well. The coach was belittling the kids and dave had enough so he kinda said some thing to the coach and pulled trent out of practice:eek: hope he plays in the first game:rolleyes:

anyway, i could type more as you all know how windy i am but i gotta get these kids to school:upsidedow

good morning sunshines!

special shout out to tvt:flower3: nothing but blue skies heading your way.:wizard:

mac - sanjaya's growing on me:rolleyes1 ; what a head of hair (wonder what product he uses?):rotfl: You are very talented, multi-quoting --- who would've thought it?

pam - what a busy bee you are this weekend. DHs other woman is in the garage, he's been able to put a couple hundred miles on it despite the crappy weather. Youngest DS got hauled around town a few times to be a big dog. Makes me a nervous wreck, i'll think about it tomorrow.

mic - mighty fine shout out! Anyone else think the drama re the fake elimination was very unkind to the last camper standing (jordin)?

My mini-biker is home sick today, bad sore throat...when they don't eat, you know they're sick. Feel bad, need to leave for dentist appt. i've cancelled twice; stoopid hygentist broke my tooth during a cleaning.

is it Friday yet?:hourglass

You should ALWAYS believe me. I'll be good as new in a day or so. YOU however are STILL sick and we need to all concentrate our efforts to get you better. And remember you promised to go to the ER if it got worse before your appointment on MONDAY:eek: (which I think can be changed to TODAY IF YOU CALL THEM AND TELL THEM YOU ARE BLEEDING AGAIN AND HAVE PAIN!!)

You guys get on her.......back me up here...:rolleyes1 :grouphug:

I'll be good as new in a day or so.

That's not saying much:lmao:

I called to see if they could take me tomorrow since Lee is off and I wouldn't have to take Samantha. They didn't have any other appointments this week, so there Mr Bossy!

I promised to go to the ER to humor you and get you to stop bossing me around on the phone. Did you not hear my weekend schedule..there is no time for ER visits in that schedule.

Keisha - I hope the biker feels better and I hope the dentist fixes you all up. (HUGS)

Pam - Im glad Dave said something. It's important as parents that we stick up for our kids. Im sure he will be able to play in the first game, but better to have a parent say something than to let the kids go on being talked down to. I remember how cruel my dance instructor could be to some of the girls and a few times me. I remember quite a few times girls ran out crying because she had pointed out weight issues or body parts. Why are adults so cruel to kids sometimes?

You think you are SOOOO funny......NOT....You are still

Don't humor me.............I don't do FUNNY.... get well PLEASE!!!!:grouphug:

 Tony, hope all goes well, I'm thinking good karma for ya....

OCM, please, just because you think you feel ok doesn't always mean things on the inside are ok...so YES, humor all of us and don't fool around, make sure you go for follow-up....although it would be a nice road trip to come down kick your butt, then go play nurse to Tony while he is recouping...:thumbsup2

Pam, baseball with kids can be like that, I've so been there and done that...and on the other side of the fence, my husband coached and it can be a pain too......although he NEVER would belittle kids, he had 13 yr. olds, then moved up with them til they were 18, so he had almost "we think we are men" to deal with, but he respected them, and they respected him, that is what it's all about. Got that respect going and you will get kids that want to practice, play and do well. Hope it all works out for Trent...:thumbsup2

Right now, I have no plans for sure...may try and get my doggie to the Dawg Wash on Sunday, he needs a good bath. It is so worth the $10 to drive him over and use all their stuff.

KS, poor hubby, hope he feels better soon and that your dentist appt. goes ok.

I agree, I thought that whole thing they put Jordin through was awful and just drug the show out. I realize they were raising money, but I found all the songs to be depressing that most sang. The Staying Alive thing was cute, as was Ben Stiller, and Celine with Elvis was pretty cool...now all the Elvis is Alive folk will be out in force again :goodvibes Guess they figured that if they kicked someone off, they would lose those fans of that person calling in with donations:rolleyes: Don't get me started anyway. Very good cause, but instead of 1/2 the money staying in this country for poor children, why not all of it?? We never take care of our own before we go off saving the world.....ok, off my soap box...and of course JMHO;) My opinion probably isn't popular, but it's how I feel

Dave has coached plenty and is still coaching Noah so i do know what it is like...parents can be so dumb sometimes:rolleyes:
I guess this guys practices are nothing but a bunch of screwing around...the kids don't listen to him, and they screw off alot. I was told my one parent that he has been coaching them since they have been 8 yrs. old and haven't gotten any better. He just tells them that they are doing it wrong but doesn't show them the right way to do things.....makes for a very intresting season:sad2:

TVT is back home. They took off two growths, one was just a cyst on his back the other was cancer on his wrist. They will know in 14 days which type of cancer although the Dr didn't seem to be too concerned that it was a more serious one. Hopefully the Dr is right.:grouphug:

wow mac!!!! i'm impressed!!! I don't know how to do that...you dun good!!:thumbsup2

and i'm a blonde....

Im with you Pam!! I have no clue how to do that. I have to rely on my memory to answer everyone. WAY TO GO MAC!!!

i surprise myself at times

go to the bottom right. use the middle script icon, the one with the bold " double quote symbol. then you will be like me

good morning sunshines!

mac - You are very talented, multi-quoting --- who would've thought it?
since no one here showed me how to do it, i had to bite the bullet and figure it out myself.

is it Friday yet?:hourglass

tony, hope all is well with you now. think positive for the biopsie results.
sweets, behave, listen to tony
pam, you have great kids
keisha, they should fix the tooth for free since the idiot broke it
mic, i bet you are getting thin
bob, you'll like Hawaii, been there, done that. it's nice

where's Mr Ed?
where's coffee man Mr Robot.

i miss them both.

DH is swell, DS is not (although he ate some spaghettios and asked for KFC for dinner;) ). Ive got a swollen mouth, but comfortably numb--better living thru chemistry. I won myself another root canal/crown; subject to who's footing the bill.

tvt - good thoughts sent your way!

ocm - gotta do what's right for you...get to the dr.;)

mic - any news on the airfare front?

mac - still so excited about the simpsons, can't stand it

pam - i had to go back & read that coaching stuff, bunch of bs...ever think they should have some sort of credentialing process for coaches. In our area, the youth coachs don't even have to go thru the basic screening process for perverts, etc.

bob - how nice for you! How very romantic; sure you don't want to take the kids lol?

Nope, not getting thin AT ALL....it just so boggles me how good I've been and see hardly an ounce dropping off.......grrr:mad:

Yeah, that double quote thingy is cool, you go girl!!

Glad Tony has come through the surgery ok, and we will all pray for good test results:angel:

OOPS....KS I didn't see your post til after I hit submit.....

No news on the airfare, still incredibly stinky and high:headache: and here it is almost the first of May...I still am going with the plan of just sending dh back home and me bunking with the grandbabies forever :thumbsup2 :upsidedow My supervisor said a resounding NO when I said that, she says I have to come back.......:sad1: the way the guys have been this afternoon, I could walk outta here right now and not look back, they are getting on my last good nerve:wave2: :drinking1 :car: :crazy2:

Hope everything goes well for him! We will pray that it is NOT serious:grouphug:

But of course :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I've been busy today -- planning our next vacation! :cool1:

Nicole and I are going (minus kids) to Hawaii for 10 days for our 10th anniversary.

wow, sounds like a very cool vacation!! when will you be going???

Mac--you taught me something!!!! who said this thread wasn't educational???

the only reason he is coaching is so his kid can play on the team. Some of the parents tell me that the kid wouldn't make the team if he wasn't the coach. The other gripe i have about him is that he is the head coach and he misses over half the games because he is on vacation. If he is going to commit to coaching then he needs to be at the games! He can vacation after the season is over....i guess that is my opinion but that is how i was raised...you make a commitment....you stick to it!

heck, i was thinking that bob could take all of us on his vacation....wouldn't that be romantic??!?!?!

Bob, that sounds like an awesome anniversary trip! Keep us posted on the details...Hawaii is so beautiful and romantical

Pam, I agree with making a committment and sticking to it. So many parents today stick their kids in a sport as it is "babysitting" for them...we even saw it when my son played, the parents had no interest in being around for practices or anything, then when they showed up to a game, had something "special" to say to the coach for not coaching the team they way "they would do it"....well, grab a hat, put on a uniform and come on down and coach. I hope Trent doesn't get discouraged over this...time for Dave to take on the team!!

Probably stop back by a little later
