GOOD MORNING FRIENDS..ARE YA UP?

Geez, I couldn't get on the Dis yesterday afternoon or early evening so I gave up...got tired of the no database

Ok, did some research, Lulu was born in 1948, so in Dec. she will be 60, and she either has a) aged well or b) had a little help...she still looked cute though. I knew she had married a Bee Gee in her youth, but after reading a bit, remembered it being Maurice who died recently. She then married the dude that sells hair stuff, John Frieda, but divorced him after 20 yrs...(guess she didn't like him doing her "do" anymore). Peter looked as cute as ever, what a smile he has.

Ok, Stephanie was not my favorite, but her going over Sanjaya?? What a crock...and I'm not liking Phil so much. I still like Jordin, & Chris S and Blake...I'm sure I'll change my mind again.

It's 37 this morning, cloudy and supposed to reach 73 I just hope that we don't jump from winter into summer around here I'd like to have some spring weather.

Gotta run, have a good start to the day, will be back later, office manager is away today the other I do/don't like gal is leaving early, so just me and my favorite gal are left to keep the men in line today No problem, I have them all where I want them, eating outta my hand

hope y'all got your computer issues settled.

thought i was losing it when I logged on here yesterday, tried to open a few posts & got strange messages instead "can't find noid or postthanks" wasn't a noid something in a pizza delivery commercial few years ago?

strange things afoot, went to grab my everyday watch yesterday (battery dead); on to dress watch (same); dug around - they're all dead (i think aliens are to blame ).

Did i mention the excitment we had this weekend? We live by the woods, and have our share of critters. Noticed that the dogs were making a fuss in the backyard & wouldn't quiet down. DH went to investigate & there was a racoon acting weird - just staring @ the dogs; not moving even when DH tried to shoo it away. Called the police dept. evidently; there's a rabies problem in our county. Officer shot it, but told DH they don't do disposal; so he took care of it.

Last few nights, we hear really strange noises from 'wildlife' outside; not sure if it's cats in heat (we've got an older issue from old lady up street who had a house-full of cats few years ago, went off to a nursing home & family showed them the door/many went feral).

Going into the 70's today, but sort of afraid to let my dogs run in our fenced-in yard, even though they have their shots

I am off to be Momma the teacher today and my mom will be here around 10am. So I won't be around for a while. I hope you all have a great weekend and I miss you all. Talk to you soon.

BTW..I think Melinda should win the whole thing and I really like Jordin too. I agree Stephanie should not have gone over Sajaya..but as Mac and Ed have said, the vote for the worst people are popular. Simon has already said that if Sajaya wins, he will quit the show. I can't say I blame him.

Anyway, hope you all have a great weekend, good luck to all of the kids playing sports this weekend, I hope your teams win!!

Not much happening here, sun is out, and now Saturday which was to be high 70's has been relegated back to 50's and rain...of COURSE, I need to put the dog in the car to go to the groomers, so let's just decide to rain

KS, we had a racoon that was camping out in our yard and upsetting the trash, animal control would NOT help....for some reason, finally a neighbor also called it in and they came and shot it....go figure just like feral cats around here, they will provided a trap, which you must go and pick up and then take the cats to THEM.....geez, they will pick up a dog but do nothing about cats......I have nothing against animals, but the procedures for nuisance pets roaming in your yards is not fair...JMHO

I still keep getting weird messages here on the Dis, I agree, aliens seem to have taken over the place.

Momma, enjoy your mom visit.....I know the kids will be thrilled.

Home again, YAY...and tomorrow is Friday...double YAY

Waiting for macaroni to boil for mac n cheese, I'm at a loss for what to fix as my cupboards are bare...I need to get to Sam's this weekend. Funds must be watched carefully though, I lost some pay over vacation, didn't use all my PTO at once, saved some for later.....SO.......pennies, pennies pennies

Will stop back by later...Survivor was on last night, so TV should be slow, but I may catch up on some taped stuff...

KS, do you watch Rescue Me? about time for that to return to the tube, I like that show. Guess Dancing with Stars will start up more than one night a week too, a dance night then elimination

GOOD MORNING, IT'S FRIDAY

I kept falling asleep last night from about 9:30 on, so I finally just said the heck with it, turned out the light and was asleep by 10...I was very tired last night for some reason, more so than usual.....anyway, I feel rested this morning, although I STILL hate rolling out of bed when I HAVE to, not when I want to Saturday is shot for sleeping in, early to rise and get out, doggie to groomer by 9 and then errands to get done. At least I can come home and take a nap if I want.

Bob, have a good weekend trip we will be thinking of you.

Unsettled sort of Friday, need to tie up the week's loose ends.

mac - use an umbrella; perhaps goolashes (wonder if they still make them)?

mic - never heard of that show - other night i od'd on reality shows (idol results, end of pussycat dolls; then that designer show ). Not sure why but i keep missing Bones - can't remember what night it's on. sometimes catch it in repeats on one of the offbrand channels.

pam - never got into that show (tried watching the season premiere & was lost), which "dreamy" do you like? I hear a spin off is in the works.
