ran out of applesauce

first round of diners done, now waiting for sons to show up.


sometimes i have gone to the same grocery store 3 x's in one day.
and i do the grocery store sometimes 5 x's a week....

ocm - it'd probably be considered non-pc these days, but I always took advantage of popping 2 kids in the same bubble bath; course they're all boys. They'd sit and play with action figures & various bath soaps, drawing all over the tub surround.

sure made bathtime routine easier.

once we got the pool, had a battle explaining to them that despite being in water all day; it didn't qualify as a bath.

I remember the situation you stated ; have you tried the shower head on the hose thingie to try & ease them back into their comfort zone? My youngest had a bit of a phobia (not sure why?) and he preferred being able to be able to aim it @ himself...might work!

keisha, hahahahhaha, that is funny, the shower head one........

we tried that and it wiped me out.
the boys used it to spray each other and the bathroom flooded.



those were the good old days, glad they are in the past.

evening all!

what a day. got up this morning and went to my nephews wrestling meet...i had two wrestling...one is 7 and one is 5. the 5 yr. old won and the 7 yr. old got 2nd.
Then they came to our house and played outside and went to the school and played some more. My sister and I went for a walk then i went to work for a few hours.

I just got home from there as I went grocery shopping after....got that done for the week

Think I am going to turn in early tonight...i am tired..doesn't help that i ended up not getting to bed till 2:30 because there was a good movie on.

ocm--i get 10% off on all taxable groceries, produce, candy, and pop. That will stop when I stop working though...which will probabaly be around april 20th.

ks--glad your ds won!!! saved his head??? I agree some guys can pull it off some can't!

mac--sounds like you had a good meal!! I bet your ds loves coming home!!!

yes, i am always happy when one or more of the sons are home.

todd worked from 10:45 to 8 tonight.
he worked over time, was suppose to be home by 7.

he ate some and now laying down, bad headache.

bad mom i am, i forgot to make him a lunch to take to work.
hoping the tylenol and food he did eat a few minutes ago will help.

Nico won his soccer game and got 7 goals. WHOO HOOO!!!

Barney didn't keep me out 'till 3:00 a.m. either..... But the Doobie Brothers were great...lines weren't too bad and we did have fun. But it had been a LOOOONNNNGGGGGG time since I saw 3:00 a.m. without rolling over and looking at my alarm clock!! I should have gone to see Barney...and then went home!!!

Brothers Doobie, a blast from the past! Don't say the "B" word, I'm still scared. Youngest son would watch the same stupid tape when a preschooler from morning to night. Of course by the time we took him to U he wouldn't be caught dead @ the show. Think I may force him to sit thru the show this year. Maybe it'll bring back happy memories.

pam - u r always a busy bee; good thing you're young & still have stamina.

ocm - without fail every spring one of my ds got pink eye once baseball practice started (think it was grungy fingers rubbing tired eyes?). I still have a problem with that stupid stye coming & going; starting to think I'm allergic to one of the many cosmetics I wear; mystery fer sure.

mic - spraying eachother with the shower is one stunt my guys never had the guts to pull. that i know of...

Let me go on record; I hate this friggin time change with a passion.

morning all. i took the day off work since son is home.
he'll probably sleep to noon but still wanted to be home when he woke up.



my boys never got into barney. they were hooked on the latino girl maria on sesame street. they still say she is hot. i think their dad watched too much sesame street with them to encourage their interests in maria......

time change problems, eh.....now you know how it is to go from cst to est when i visit florida. always takes me a couple of days to adjust.

tony, glad you liked the doobies. there's a member in the previous doobies group that will always have a piece of my heart....

i gave up on mr robot and made my own coffee today.


is this the day mic comes back to us?

this is the day that mic comes home...hope she has safe travels!

mac--that is sweet of you to stay home from work since your ds is there...just be really lound if you want him to wake up earlier.

Please keep my cousin Mark in your prayers. He just found out that he has cancer. They are doing surgery and they caught it extremely early, so it was all positive thus far. He will go back in for a PET test and then he just has to get checked every 6 months, as long as they are sure they got all the cancer cells during surgery.

He is 25 and he is expecting his second child in June. He will be fine, because in our family, we always pull through, but extra prayers never hurt.
