Got church under my belt, should be covered for a few days .

Made a big breakfast & family wants me to cook Chicken Wings before we leave for the game. All they do is eat, and never get fat, unlike me - where's the luv?

mac - did you see General Tso? Sorry, i've been running on empty this weekend; still didn't get everything done.

The Departed gave me nightmares; so many twists & turns; engrossing though. Especially the elevator part @ the end, didn't see that coming!

gant - we in western part of pa don't go for the cheese goop; but the steak sammich is a winner. Ever eat a Primanti Sandwich?

Italian bread, your choice of meat, slaw; yummy. Wash it down with an Iron

breakfast of champions.

Haven't even pulled the suitcases out I'm starting to sound like mac now.....LOL...but I will get it all thrown together for sure. Packing light, not taking a lot of stuff along

i bought the cannon power shot SD 630. it takes digital and videos.
also bought a 1 mg memory card.

you can highlight any part of the pic in a color.


just don't know how to use it......but i did set the date on it with a little help from a teen.



mic, you are just like me. pack the hour before you leave for the airport.

Back from the airport it was a quick trip down and back...the security line was a little long, so he hopped right in so he wouldn't have a delay getting through...it moved quickly, but it was just such a quick goodbye...but maybe that is better for me, I only cried a tad, although I'm starting to cry now thinking about it...the weekend flew by

I bought the Cannon 630 for the kids for Christmas...that is the small digital one right mac? I love the looks of it and the size. I have a Cannon, but mine is a little bigger. That looks nice Pam, but I'm more the point and shoot kinda gal

Off to eat some dinner and then buckle down to packing..

yea mic, i paid $298.98 which included the extra memory stick, case and lens cleaner. and some wire thing so you can down load the pics to the comp.

if you know anything about it, fill me in...

i did a search on line and found beachcamera.com was the best out there at the time. i did regular shipping which was free. supposed to take 7 days but they over night everything by fed ex. i read that on line and it was just like that.

I bought the camera for my son thru PCNation...an online place I found that was the cheapest at Christmas time. I got an extra memory stick for it and the camera set (battery and whatever) not the extra lens stuff you got, and I think it was like $239 w/free shipping and now that I reread your post, I think the model I got them was a 600 Elph...so I think it may not be as large or sophisticated as the 630. They love it though and it takes a nice picture.

Last bit of clothes in washer, suitcases semi packed, just visiting everyone before settling down...I never sleep good the night before leaving. We should be out of the house no later than 7 a.m....our flight is at 9:40. Can't believe it is here. Where has this year gone already, it's March

evening friends!! Wanted to make it back before now but we went out for pizza after the game which NOAH WON!!!!! they got 1st place!!!

Then I went and got some groceries and now i am finally home.

mic--hope i didn't miss you....if i did have a great time and travel safe!

I may try to post a few pics tomorrow...we will see how busy i am with that new baby.

mic - i'm with you; Cameron's a self proclaimed expert on the Titanic & now that there's not much on his plate; decides he'll become a biblical scholar too . It's not that I'm a fanatic, heck I loved the DiVinci code (do think the RC church banned it though lol); don't plan on wasting my time either.

Think my ulcer's coming back. Good segue into dragging mom to hospital today for procedures. She's not a good patient; always a challenge.

Mic I know how hard it is to say goodbye

Julie was up all night throwing up. First she threw up all in her bed. SO I thrw the sheets in the washer got her all cleaned up and she thanked me and told me she was feeling much better. So we all snuggled in my bed until she threw up in my bed. It was so gross. I was up from 1:30am to about 4:30am.

I know all moms have to deal with this..it's one of the job hazards.

I picked up a book called Bright Eyes yesterday by Catherine Anderson. So I will be reading and doing all sorts of laundry. I hope you all have a great day.

ocm--sorry to here julie is sick...hope it passes quickly and she feels better soon. I need to get myself to reading again...i just haven't had the time here lately. I read The face on the milk carton not to long ago. My mil picked it up for trent. I read the first couple of pages to see what it was all about and just decided to read the whole book. It is an great book for jr. high. She just bought him another book...High Heat...he is more excited about that one It's about baseball.

Pretty good weekend here -- quiet, for the most part.

The boys enjoyed Sesame Street Live -- Ryan apparently was a little freaked out by seeing huge life-sized Elmo and Big Bird characters on stage, but settled in after a while and liked it. Cameron loved it as well.

Sunday, we went to Mass and brunch and then went out Sunday night with Nicole's family for dinner for her birthday. We went to a Japanese Hibachi place (where they cook in front of you). Ryan once again got a little freaked -- this time when the chef made a big fire on the grill as part of the show. So he watched the rest of the cooking from a safe distance on Nicole's lap in table behind ours. He was fascinated by the whole thing -- but he wanted no part of being very close to the grill.
