KS, you are too funny, yes Momma will be ready to see inlaws/outlaws leave after a few days, she misses them, but she is always up front in telling us she likes them visiting in small doses Your mom must be enjoying time at Nico's school....glad she is doing things with the little ones, that is awesome. Glad you found some you time to visit with us.

No, only my son is making it home for the party. It is too expensive for all of them to get home, plus my DIL has a new job and is saving her time off for when we visit them. I wish they all were coming, but it's good to see one of my "big" babies even for a short visit. I'm very surprised he is coming so it's a real treat for me to have him home for a couple days. I think I mentioned before that this aunt is everyone's favorite...she spend loads of time with my husband and his siblings, and then all of our kids when they were little...everyone loves Aunt Glady!! She is awesome and you would not believe she is 90...she is so lucky to have good health and take care of her house and herself. Hope we don't give her a heart attack with this surprise

ugghhh....i'm waiting for 5 to get here too....the kids have be AWFUL today.....they just tore the border off of the toyroom! so i have 4 little kids sitting out here with me being in trouble. I hate these kinds of days!!

OH Pam, it should be 5 o'clock now in Nebrasky... I'm home, had a bite to eat and now doing some laundry.......trying to lighten up for Sat/Sun to veg out if I so choose.

Actually, one of the kids at work is turning 21 tomorrow, and myself and another gal said we might tag along to keep them all straight... well, the guys said come on, join us.........so I might catch up with them tomorrow evening....I don't usually go for that kind of stuff, but it sounds like a good break the winter doldrums, something to do type thing.

Think after doing my laundry, I might just watch TV tonight, its still cold here...

nothing new here, the same old same old.

picking up the toddster at the chgo train station in the morning.
he comes home once a month to work his job at the mall in order to keep it.
school breaks and summers is where he makes the money.

i spend sometimes $75 a train ticket for him to make $55 for that one day...


of course, after i pick him up and get home by 1 in the afternoon, he'll have to leave for work at 2:30 and then i won't see him again until sunday afternoon around 2ish. he has to go see his gf after work and spend the night with her and her family..........

we'll have to leave around 2:30 sunday afternoon as the big car show is going on in chgo. it's the last day of it.

what should be only a 45-50 minute drive will be up to a 3 hour drive due to the congestion .........but he's worth it


that's my weekend.

it is the best deal around. and, those tickets will not expire. they will probably pull that promo after spring break.

ap rates for loews hotels have stayed higher the last 2 years.
i have the ap but booked with aaa for my stay.

got a king suite for a price of a garden view, free upgrade w/loews platinum card.

hey! I just got home from the party for my neice and I am SOOO glad to be home....the wind is blowing and it was very hard to see. what should have taken me 20 minutes took me over 40. The kids were really good and was quiet so i could concentrate. I hate driving in weather like that...especially with three kids in the car by myself!!! I had white knuckle sydrome the whole way home

I'm off to the dentist broke a tooth early last evening...as mac would say...hooray for Vitamin "V"...usually pass on it; sure was glad the dentist wrote me a script along w/the antibiotic. Got a feeling i need another cap, hope it doesn't need pulled...i'm scared of the dentist.

hee- hee; always nice to have a 'home-cooked' meal. I've found a pair of high heels and an apron to be very effective .

I'm a happy camper ; apparently i've got another failed root canal (this will be #2). Shooting for the antibiotic to clear it up enough so I can get another post/cap. Have to see the endontist, long as it's not the oral surgeon again. ah, well - this is the stuff that makes life interesting.

Glad i cooked 2 turkey breasts yesterday, dinner's half-way there; think i'll call it a night.

DS serving mass in the am, then the big River Rat game in the evening. DH wants to hit Cracker Barrel on the way; and maybe that Harley dealer down that way too...just say no!

went to trent's game today and you guessed it....they lost! the season is finally over. I am so glad...they were all starting to feel down that their team was not as good as others.

I am in for the night....i may take a nap and then cook supper for the kids. I need to watch my movies sometime today too.

Evening friends...

Back from the rat race...oh my gosh, everyone in the entire county was in town today... I stopped at Sam's, there were NO carts, I asked the lady and she said I had to wait for someone to bring them in...well, there weren't any "sitting" in the corrals or anyplace in the lot, so I got ticked and left...went to AC Moore to buy a St. Patty's day wreath for my door, the damn line was about 7 people deep at every checkout, so I left there too. Ended up just going to the regular grocery store, saved money that way anyway. Wal Mart was a zoo too........ick....BUT I got my hair colored and trimmed up, so I feel pretty spiffy.

KS, we leave on 3/5 for Florida...ds comes in that weekend, so it will be hectic, plus that will make 3 trips to the airport in 4 days At least the
3rd trip WE are heading out.

Not much else happening.....waiting to see if I'm going out with the gang from work, no phone call yet....hope they don't wait til I fall asleep to call me

Sorry bout your tooth KS, that stinks, and I feel for ya, been there done that. Do you have insurance? endontist's are expensive, but they know how to do the work quicker than the dentist.

mic - you're got some busy days ahead of you! So nice to be able to celebrate your aunties bd & see your DS too. FYI, next shuttle is 3/15. Luckily we do have very good dental insurance; but even with it caps/endontists are very special. They don't cover getting knocked out unless you're admitted to the hospital?? had to pay the last time out of pocket. I figure if you've got to use a surgeon to extract a tooth, i don't want to be aware - at all; wake me when it's over...off to my laughing place Hope you get to go out, can't remember the last time we did; were supposed tonight until the tooth became an issue. I'll enjoy my vitamin V & dh can dig up some Coors - living la vida loca

Howdy...looks like I'm going to have a late night out...yikes, we are meeting at TGIF's at 8:30....guess they don't realize that is normally my bed time I'll just have a drink with them, I ate here at the house, that is too late for me to eat.......I couldn't not go though after making a big to-do about it yesterday at work...LOL...I had jokingly said we were going to show up at the birthday bash to keep an eye on the guys that they don't lead the tender 21 year old down the wrong path, and it went from there...asking me and yes, you guessed it, my nasty office manager to join them. I can get along fine with her though...you know that old thing about keeping your enemies closer... It isn't that I totally can't stand her, she just annoys me most of time.....but whatever, it will be fun.

Soak up the bubble suds KS and relax, try not to think about your poor toothy...drink a couple extra alcholic beverages and it will be but a thought in the distant past that it even hurt
