Tuesday Jan 16

Everyone woke up very excited this morning. It was Magic Kingdom day!! I got up and got myself ready. I came out of he bathroom to find all three kids sitting in the stroller in their diapers/underwear. I couldn't help laughing at them.
Lee got up feeling really sick. His allergies were really acting up.

"Do you just want to stay home?" I asked. He didn't look like he felt well enough to hang out at an amusement park all day.

"No, I'll be fine once I get some drugs. When you talk to Tony will you ask him if he has any Claritin or Alverta, anything for allergies." He asked.

Not too much later, TVT called, "Do you need anything from the store? I can pick something up for you on my way to meet you." He was offering.

"Actually, if you really don't mind we need apple juice and Lee needs allergy drugs. Do you have any Claritin or benedryl?" I was asking

"No not benedryl, Alverta or Claritin," Lee was saying.

"Ok, not benedryl, Alverta or Claritin." I said to Tony on the phone.

"I know I don't have either of those, but I will pick it up at the store for you when I stop and get your apple juice." He said

"Are you sure you don't mind?" I asked

"Uh, I'm the one offering. I'll be there soon." He said.

I turned to look at the kids who were still sitting in their strollers in their undies.

"You guys need to get out of the stroller and eat your breakfast and get dressed so we an go." I said.

They quickly got out of the stroller, ate their breakfast and were almost all dressed by the time TVT showed up with all of the loot.

"Thank you so much!!" I said.

"You know that I would do anything for you guys." That made me smile. He is one person I know I can count on anytime I need him. Even times I don't know I need him, as we would find out later that day.

Tony showed up at the door with everything I asked, and the kids were just about ready to go.

"Grandpapa Tony, Julie ate all her breakfast so now she can go to MAGIC KINGDOM!!" She cheered as she climbed into the stroller.

We headed over there and got there about 8:45. 15 minutes later than I wanted to be there, but 10 minutes before the countdown. As we were standing there, I wanted to make sure everyone knew the plan.

"Ok, you guys are going to ride the Cars and I'll take Sama-lama on Dumbo. Right, Nico you don't want to ride Dumbo?" I asked.

"Yeah, I don't want to ride it." He said

"Mom, Julie wants to ride Dumbo." Julie said.

"You do? You want to ride Dumbo? Are you sure?" I asked rather surprised since two days before she refused to ride Triceratops Spin.

"Yes, I'm sure. Julie wants to ride it." She said.

"Are you ok with riding Dumbo?" I asked Tony at the same time he turned to me and said, "I guess I'm about to ride Dumbo for the first time ever."

"Are you serious, you have never ridden Dumbo?" I was shocked.

"No, when I have ever had kids young enough that would want to ride that?" He replied.He had a good point. So we walked in and gave our AP's to Lee. He took Nico, went and Fast passed peter pan, then went to drive Indy Speedway.

Tony and I took the girls on Dumbo. I was really worried about Julie. They took the yellow Dumbo and we took the orange one right behind them. Sammie was smiling and laughing the entire time. She loved that ride, but I was worried about Julie. At one point during the ride, Tony looked back at me.

"Is she upset? Is she scared or crying?" I asked worried.

"Heck no, she is up here giggling and laughing her butt off." He shouted back at me. That made me smile huge. My little baby was finally getting to the point where she was enjoying the rides. I was thrilled.

We got down and went to Pooh and the tea cups were next on the list. I was nobody's fool this time. I cannot go fast. So Lee took Julie and Nico in one tea cup and Tony, Sammie, and I rode in another. Tony started to spin the tea cup fast, but he slowed down once I started closing my eyes. I think he realized that he didn't want me sick this time around.

Gee, thanks.

Then, Nico wanted to do Space Mountain. My first thought was "Wow, my little baby really is growing up." Julie wanted to ride the cars, so Tony offered to take her on that. Lee and I were going to ride snow white, but Nico asked to do Space Mountain.

"Are you sure?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I really want to ride Space Mountain." He said a little whiny.

"Ok, well, while he has the nerve to go, I think you two should go." I said to Lee.

I walked over with them, and then I realized Tony was suppose to meet us at Snow White.

"Go ahead, I'm going to run and tell Tony where we are." I said as I walked away.

I got to Indy speedway, walked through the exit and scanned the line until I found them. In less than three minutes, they were in the cars driving under me.

"Hey, you are suppose to let her drive." I shouted at TVT as he was driving under the bridge.

"She didn't want to," he shrugged back.

At this point he was under the bridge going out the other side when I shouted, "Hey, Space Mountain. We are at Space Mountain."

I didn't think he heard me. So, I walked between Space Mountain and the cars waiting to see which of the two groups would come out first. Julie and Tony walked out of the cars when I ran up.

"Did you hear me shout that we were at Space Mountain?" I asked

"No, who is?" He asked

"Nico and Lee are riding it." I said proudly

"You have got to be kidding. He really wanted to ride it?" Tony was as surprised as I was.We walked over and waited for about 15 minutes for them to come out. Finally, Nico ran up to me.

"Did you like it?" I asked worried

"Yeah mom, it was great!!" He replied while excitedly bouncing and smiling, "I want to ride it again with you."

I have to say, it was really nice to watch him have a good time with his Dad doing the bigger rides. I was happy for both of them.

"ok, maybe later, but the fast pass came up for Peter pan and then we need to ride Small World. Sammie hasn't been on very many rides today and she should have a turn too. Do you want to ride the goofy ride?" I asked Nico.

"Yeah Yeah Yeah, I want to ride it." He said.

I turned to Lee, "Do you want to take him on that while I take the girls on the Merry Go round?"

"Well, don't you want to ride with him?" Lee asked

"Well, right now, Samantha has been waiting for a long time and I want to take her on a ride too. But you guys better go now, since Toontown just opened. That line never moves later in the day" I replied.

Lee and Nico went off to ride that while we took Samantha and Julie on the Merry go round. After, I figured Lee and Nico would be a while, so I thought it would be a good idea to take the girls on their favorite ride. As I was walking towards Small World Tony turned to me.

"Could you please slow down your walking from like 50MPH to 20mph? These girls don't have the long legs you do and they can't keep up with you."

'Really?" I was taken back a little.

"Yes, really the girls legs aren't as long as yours.." TVT was saying as I rolled my eyes at him "Not that. Am I really walking that fast? I didn't really notice."

"YES! You are really walking that fast." He was a little emphatically about it.

"I'm sorry, I really hadn't noticed." I said. I tried to make a mental note to walk slower than I had been. I really don't think that I walk fast, I think it's that I have longer strides, but I would work on that.

We got off Small World and went to go look for the guys at the carousel.

"Mom, where were you? We were looking for you guys everywhere!" Nico said as though he was annoyed.

"I'm sorry, baby. I thought you would be a lot longer on the Goofy ride, so I thought I would take the girls on Small World. Did you like it?" I felt bad. I didn't mean to keep them looking for me.

"Yeah it was really short, but I liked it." Nico replied forgetting his annoyance.

"We better go do Peter Pan" Lee said

We went and did peter pan and Lee we were about to go into Mickey's Philharmagic when Tony stopped me.

"If we are going to eat at Starlight Cafe, we better go now. Remember how crowded that place got last time and it was hard to get a seat." He had a point. Last May, it was really hard to find a seat and once I did, people kept taking them.

"Are you hungry?" I asked him.

"Uh YES!" he responded. AH Ha, in all honesty, my kids probably were getting hungry at that point too. Nico gets very whiny when he is hungry and I could tell when he was looking for me after the Goofy ride he was getting into that mood.

We went and ordered the food for everyone. We got the kids the chicken and ribs combo,. That was more than enough food for the three of them. Then, we each got a meal. The food wasn’t anything to write home about, but it is the counter service where you get the most food for your money by far. Plus, I was happy to see my kids finally eat a vegetable.

just got my computer and phone working again...i was lost for 2 hours
heard a big pop outside and my electricity went out and came back on...then my phone and computer would work right. Good thing i'm smart enough to figure it out!

Tuesday Jan 16th The Incident

With our stomachs full and everyone in better spirits, we rode the TTA and the Carousel of Progress, which happened to breakdown. We had to repeat the 1920's. It seemed long at the time, but we didn't realize how lucky we were to only have to repeat that once.

At this point, we had about 10 minutes before the parade. We went and found a front seat right at the beginning of the parade route. The kids were really whiny as Lee went to get them Popcorn. I think they were hungry.

Julie was hording the popcorn bag and really not sharing well with her siblings. Finally, I took the bag away and she started crying very hard.

"If you are going to be rude and not share, you can go back and sit with Daddy (who was leaning against the fence behind us).

"I don't want to sit with Daddy." She cried as I pulled her out of the stroller and walked her back to her father. About two minutes later, Julie had stopped crying completely. Shocked that she had stopped so quickly, I looked back to find out the culprit of the quietness.

"HEY!! You better stop spoiling my child!" I shouted at Tony as I watched him hand Julianna some cheetos (one of her absolute favorite snacks.) She came back to the stroller and climbed in to watch the parade.

"Are you going to apologize to all of us for being rude?" I asked her.

"I'm sorry." she said as she settled back. The parade started and the kids were pretty into it. As soon as the parade was over, we went to go ride Big Thunder Mountain. First Lee rode with Nico.

When they came out, I asked Nico if he wanted to ride with Tony and I. Yeah, he said. The we heard Julie chime in, "Julie wants to ride that ride." She said.

"Hey I broke the Camera" Lee said to me. "The lens part broke so it doesn't open all the way." He explained, "I'll call Sears tonight and see if I can get a new one. I think it's still under warranty."

We got on the ride, Nico and Tony sat together and Julie and I rode together. As we settled down into the seat, Julie turned to me. "I'm going to scream. Julie is going to scream very loud."

"You go right ahead and scream all you want to on this ride baby. This is the perfect ride to scream on." I said as I snuggled her close to me so I had a tight grip on her. That child was not in the least bit kidding. At one point, TVT leaned towards me, "Is that her screaming that loudly?"

"Oh yeah, she told me she was going to scream like this." I shouted back to him, over her screams. We got off the ride and Julie loved it. We stopped to talk about the next plans. "Why don't we walk over and ride Jungle Cruise?" I suggested.

"If we were going to ride Jungle cruise we should have fast passed it already. That line takes forever." Lee said.

"we are going to ride Jungle Cruise? No one told me we were going to ride Jungle Cruise. I hate that ride" Tony pouted as we started walking. I rolled my eyes wishing at that moment I had a NO Whining sign posted somewhere on me. We got to Jungle Cruise and Fast passed it. I decided to take Samantha and Julie on the Magic Carpets.

"I want to go too, but I don't want to go high." Nico told all of us. "Really? You want to ride the magic carpets?" "Yeah, but I want to stay low. I don't want to go real high in the air." He explained again. "Ok you ride with Dad. He doesn't like to go high either." I said.

We got off the magic carpets and Nico turned to me. "I want to do the Tiki Room" "Really?" I asked, somewhat disappointed. I'm really not a huge fan of that show.

We got out of the tiki room and went to wait for the fast pass time to come up for the Jungle cruise. As we were waiting there was a little girl that Nico was talking to. Tony was sitting next to me complaining about this and that, when I turned to look at the kids.

"OMG, LOOK!" I whispered to Tony, "That little girl is playing spin the bottle with Nico" I said, glaring at that little girl, who was 8-9 years old. How dare she play that with my innocent 6yo.

"Go Nico" was TVT's response. I gave him a sideways glare before turning back to glare at the little girl some more.

"Oh no, it didn't point to you again," she was saying, "ok you get one more try." She spun the bottle and I was sitting there praying that it didn't land on either child. The bottle wasn't pointing at either kid again. The little girl, being a little too friendly was saying, "Ok, you get 10 more tries.."

"Our time is up, let's go." Lee shouted over to us. I was cheering in my head as I quickly said to Nico, "let's go time is up."

"I have to go now," Nico said as he scooted off. My poor baby is too innocent for his own good.

We got off the ride just in time to catch the last show of Mickey's Dreams Come True. Now, I should point out, that I guess the mental note of slowing down didn't register. I was in front of everyone else as we walked over the bridge from Adventureland towards the castle. I was in my own little world as I was on a mission to find a perfect spot for the new show.

I found a spot in front of the castle and I was bending down to get to the same eye level as the kids. I wanted to make sure that if they weren't going to be held, they could see in their stroller. That was when TVT walked up.

"Do you think the kids can see the stage from where we are? Do you think we are back far enough?" I was asking, still in my own little world focused on the kids.

"Yeah, we're fine where we are." He respond a little more forceful than needed. That was when I turned to face him. His arms were folded in front of him and you could see on his face he was mad about something.

"What happened? Who was that guy?" I asked casually.

"That guy," TVT started fuming again , " was racing across the bridge to catch up with you with his camera phone stretched out as far as he could reach while pushing a baby carriage so he could take a picture of your ***." Seriously, I thought I was going to see steam come out of his ears as I listened trying to process the information.

"What?" I asked, a little in shock and a little nervous at how mad Tony was.

"I watched the guy as he followed you and blatantly took a picture with his phone up your shorts. Did you hear me? I shouted at the guy, 'Did you get a good shot', and by the time the guy turned to see who was calling to him, I was in his face. I told him to erase the picture right then or I was going to have him arrested. I watched him hold up the picture and I stood there and made sure he erased it. But, you don't have to worry, because I took care of it." TVT finished trying to comfort me.

"What would make that guy think that my *** would fit on a Camera phone anyway? It's too big for that tiny camera." I said, still trying to process the information.

"Did you see the guy?" I asked turning to Lee.

"Yeah I saw him." Lee said, then walked away to get himself and the kids food. While he was gone, Tony turned to me, "Lee was standing closer to the guy than I was and saw the whole thing. Why didn't he say anything?"

"Lee isn't confrontational like that. If I ask him, Lee would tell me that I shouldn't be wearing such short shorts. He would never say anything to the guy." I explained.

"You would have said something if that had happened to anyone though." I stated.

"Yes, if it was anyone I was with or knew and I saw that happen, I would have said something. That is against the law it's called Voyeurism and you can go to jail for that." He said, trying to calm himself down.

Lee came back with the rest of the food and I passed out the hotdogs and mini corndogs he had gotten from Casey’s. They finished up their food just in time for the show to start. We all loved it. This was much much better than Cinderbration or whatever that dumb show was. It really was good and all the kids, especially Nico loved it.

Once it was over, we had an hour until wishes started. Lee went and stood to get a spot and offered to wait there. As we were waiting a woman came up and said she wanted to take a picture of Dumbo. The statue was right next to where we were standing, but instead of moving, TVT just stayed in the picture. I looked back and said, "Damn, if you are going to stand in her picture the least you could do was smile."

"I know" the woman said laughing with me, "I asked him, "don't you smile." Hopefully, she can crop Mr. grouchy pants out of her picture.

Nico wanted to ride Haunted Mansion. So Tony took Nico over to the Haunted Mansion and I took the girls over to ride the Merry Go Round. When I offered, I wasn't thinking about the back way by the funnel cakes being closed off. I had to walk all the way to Liberty Square and around to the Merry Go Round. It might have been faster at that point to go through Tomorrowland. I wasn't really sure.

Since Lee had to keep the stroller to hold our spots, I had to carry Samantha while walking hand in hand with Julie. I realized then that her legs really were a lot shorted than mine and she has a tendency to get tired of walking a shuffle her feet. The only way to get her to walk at a halfway decent speed was to skip with her. It's a good thing I have a lot of energy.

We all got back and watched wishes. I love that fireworks show. The Julie sat with Lee, Nico sat in the stroller and I held Sammie as we watched. When it was over, we waited for the crowd to die down. We talked and waited until they did the Kiss Goodnight.

"Wow, we were here all day long. From countdown until the kiss goodnight." Lee said to Tony.

It had been a long day. I let everyone know that Wednesday was a sleep in day. We were not rushing off to a park early. I think everyone was happy to hear that as we said goodbye and went to bed.

ed - that's some impressive ink . (not to be too personal, where is it located in a non-saggy area?...do guys ever sag the way we old broads do? probably not a man-type decision/factor).

mic - hope the van pulls thru, cheaply!

deena - i do like the atmosphere @ SciFi, we always try too walk in @ lunch, without much success. The CS stinks @ MGM imo, and the options for lunch @ the BW aren't much better.

i'm freezing, in a pair of sweats, too cold to cook...our power kept going in and out all day, was afraid to fire up the computer for fear of a surge. Think we're in the pink now, def. a McD's night.

The camera guy from my veiw point...........

I noticed the guy pass us on the bridge from Adventure Land going to the main hub in front of the castle. He was pushing a stroller with an infant in it. As we approached the front of the castle to watch the show,OCM and the kids were about 10 paces in front of me......the guy was a step behind her. As I got closer to him I noticed him bend forward with his camera phone in his hand and snap the picture of her backside. I was furious, I looked at Lee and he turned away. What the hell?? He saw what the guy did and he turns away??? Well that was enough for me.....I wasn't gonna stand for it.... If he isn't going to defend her I am. I walked up to the guy and grabbed him by the shoulder and spun him around....I said "Did you get a good one"?? He was stunned...he said what do you mean? I said "Did you get a good picture of her ***? She's with ME !!"
At this point he knew he was caught....He started apologizing his butt off....I said to him " show me the picture NOW" he knew I was about 1/2 a second from taking his sorry *** apart. He showed me the pic and I made him delete it....As he was doing so I said to him " If you didn't have that child with you I'd have your *** arrested " !
The whole time he is saying how sorry he is and didn't know what came over him.....I wasn't having it....His apology was not working with me...He left and went to my right about 30 yards. He was pacing back and forth like he was lost. Then he starts to come back to where I am standing...he says to me...Sir I am sorry for what I did....I stopped him in mid sentence and told him the best thing he could do at that point was to get out of my sight! He followed direction well...He was gone in a flash.
I can't remember the last time I wanted to deck somebody as badly as I did him. I held my temper as best I could mainly because I didn't want OCM or her kids see me like that. I've told her on more than one occasion that when I am with them I ALWAYS have them in my sight and know where they are. I think now she realizes why I do that. Plus I'm kinda fond of them too. Looking back I should have taken the camera away from the guy and reported him to park security. I'd bet that the pic I made him erase wasn't the ONLY pic on there that he took that day. But my main concern was that he wasn't going to get his jollies at the expense of my friend

Not sure what is up with the van, of course we tell the guy to call one of us at work, so where does he leave a message, on the home phone so won't know tomorrow what is up. Honestly, with my luck, it will be something major...my van is 10 yrs. old, and just turned 100,000 miles...but I really can't afford to have another car payment right now...so we will wait and see what the verdict is.

Sorry you are so cold KS...wrap up in the woolies tonight....calling for crap here again tomorrow...I'm dreading it, only for the fact of driving home in it...we had lots of icy spots this morning all around, you had to really be careful driving....sun was out and a good bit of it melted during the day today, but it stayed cold......brrrr

Wonder if Jules has gone to Florida yet? I would love to hear what is up

Oh no! I hope your car is easily fixed. I hate when they don't call the right numbers. How frustrating.

I hope all of you stay warm up there. They are calling for ice and sleet here tomorrow morning. If that is the case, the school here will all close and so will most of the buisnesses. I can see why though. It's one thing to drive around up when its snowing, but ice is not something you want to mess around with.

No Seriously, I was thinking about it today and I have had a year of crazies.

There was the metro incident last Dec, then the guy that followed me from the post office, then the carpet guy who tried to push his way in my house, then of course this Disney guy. Probably a few more that I wasn't even aware of.
